    Decent priced laptop

I've seen a few threads asking around for laptops and I myself was looking for a decent priced one with an ATI card so thought I'd throw this out there.

I picked up a Toshiba Satellite from Office Depot with an AMD Turion 2.2 processor, 3 gig ram, 300 gig HD and an ATI HD 2400 (non integrated) vid card. They had it for $899. It was the best priced laptop I found with some nice specs and an ATI card.

ATI cards suck at the moment in laptops. You want a 8600M GT or higher.

You can buy a better laptop from Dell for less.

I'm about to make a thread/guide for laptops, since this seems to be asked about 5 times a day...

Ah.. Nvidia are better even if you only play ffxi? I've never had a decent Gefore card but the ATI in my desktop works really great. The card in my laptop seems to work fine, but i'm not an avid gamer..

A Dell on dell.com with similar specs and a 8600GT is about $1400.. that's out of my price range. (bout $1250 with 8400) Have a link to one around $900 new?
