I guess capturing Snake Island is a concession for losing all of Luhansk. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sounds like these HIMARS are really fucking the Russians up. Long enough range to hit anywhere in Russian occupied territory (with assuredly US-supplied target selection info) and stay out of range of Russian counterattack.

Seems with air power playing a diminished role due to the over abundance of anti-air systems, Russia is just going full Somme and absolutely pounding any targets with artillery before assaulting. HIMARS are going to be invaluable to counter attack artillery and their ammunition stores.
190 mile counterbattery range, lol.

Because Ukrainian soldiers were there three days prior, it made the nursing home a legitimate target - per UN.
Yeesh. I can't believe this thing is ongoing and it's not in the news cycle anymore.
Bad time to work at any Russian Ammo Depot near the border, that's for sure.
They've been carving them up like Christmas ham every night since getting those new missiles.
EDIT: Retracting. I'm not sure anymore.
I'm sure they'll get right on paying that.
Google can't even find them competent generals.
What a dishonest meme. Not only is Crimea and 2/3rds of it's sea-based oil/gas rights not coming back, but the industrial heartland of the country is controlled and being integrated into Russia.
Not only is Ukraine in a in a stalemate now, but it is is not able to even get enough bullets, let alone fancy modern tech. Western support that will make or break them is faltering and fading. Not just from Germany, but all of Europe. Who is looking at easing sanctions. Which will only accelerate because when it comes to Ukraine and heating their population in the winter. Europe will choose the later and it will come from Russia.
Far more valid assessment of realities on the ground than your condemnation of Congressional Democrats. I said a couple months ago that the most likely outcome of this war would be Russia permanently occupying part of Ukraine and we are well down that path now.
Don't worry, Democrats will leave Ukraine in the wind, just like their voters!
Unfortunately, I don't see a victory for Ukraine. I don't consider losing the south and east to the extent they are now to be a victory.
Of course I am not some expert for my opinion to hold weight, but Russia has more leverage for the long game. Gas stores are low in Europe with shortages for years to come. Ukraine will fight on, but it's sadly not going to gain it's lands back at this rate.
