I have some info on this guy.

It's a Wyvern in Riverne #a01 natually. It's located waaaay off the deep end of the map north of the broken Belfry. He's a lotto off the IT Wyverns that hang around out there and you'll need two scales to be able to get to his spawn point.

I've killed it only once and got the dorp but ever since then on Fairy at least, Nobody else has ever AH'd or gotten his dorp that I've known of. The other drop he has has never been recorded on our Ah at all.

I've never been able to figure out excatly what his spawn timer/conditions are outside of being a lotto.

He wasn't as bad as you'd think. We had two NINs on it bouncing hate with a WHM, SMN, THF and RDM working together. Only thing you have to watch out is the Paralyze spam and that Flying Dive move.

All in all you just have to do it slow an easy and he shouldn't be a problem. I'd advise pulling it into the canyon from where you exit into the Wyvern section. Just don't pull him too deep in or you might link the Bomb Clusters in the back tunnel you took to get to him.

I spent almost a full year and a half in the Riverne Zones everyday when CoP came out for farming Boroka and other mobs making a ton of gil so I ended knowing more about that place then most. The Belfrey Quest was fun and fighting this guy wasn't so bad either.

The NINs that were with us for the fight were using his Quest drop in their offhands for shits n giggles but every little bit helps I suppose.

P.S. If you do kill it and get a drop, by god please make sure someone there SS's it.

It's not bad or good.

I've only killed it twice ever since I've known about it and got the dorp once. Just it's the whole fact that nobody really camps this guy due to the amount of extra effort your group needs to make to even get to him.

That's one of his drops. He also drops the JSE DRG Leg armor as well which has never been recorded on Fairy's AH ever.

I'm hoping once I get back online with my newly built PC to take a committed killforce and get that fucking thing to drop. It's more or less the principal of the issue now.

Yeah and you can tank the Wyverns again this time. For some reason being a taru & a nin means you'll almost never die.

I never understood how taru NINs can survive so damn well.
