FFXI-3202 Error

Not sure if anyone has had to deal with this error in the past, but dealing with this has lead to some of the worst customer support I've ever seen in an MMO before. I know it isn't their fault or anything and I haven't been rude to them, but my account being unplayable for this long is quite ridiculous.



I've basically had this error for 3 weeks now on my main character not allowing me to play at all, contacted customer support multiple times, and they just keep saying it is being looked into. Can't roll my character back or anything I guess? I just assume they would have some sort of backups and could very easily just roll it back a day to fix it.

Mostly just curious if anyone has had this happen to them and how long it took to fix because I'm getting very annoyed at this situation.

Make sure to keep calling in. They have a habit of not telling you when they actually do somethign

Probably won't be any help, but could try deleting local files relative to your character which would generally handle macros and such. These things are all uniquely named, like ab2911 or somesuch. With the addition of things like macro books, gear sets, and so on over time, someone bugging out here wouldn't surprise me at all.

Plan B would be to GM call from a mule if you haven't already. Might be more successful than a phone call.

A Ls mate was stuck on the CoP three paths (which sucks cause it blocks him from Sea and reforging). They did the whole thing but it wouldnt progress. He repeated all the steps multiple times and whatnots.

He sent in gm calls for 3 weeks and got very few responses. they told him to report it on the forums which we all know isnt gonna get it fixed in a timely manner if at all (i know of a few peeps stuck on 3 paths.) anyways one gm said they could reset the mission for him. that was 3 weeks ago. i made sure to remind him he might have to badger them a bit repeatedly and he said that what he has been doin. so tonight he got the first reply in 3 weeks. the gm literally told him that "ffxi was low priority for them." and then he got DCd after the gm said that. when he got back on he sent another call, they replied fast and they said he will be reset within 3 days. So hopefully that will be true and he can move on.

So just be persistant and keep sending in them calls. alot of the days my friend got no responses at all.

Wait, a GM said they could reset a missions state? I've been trying to get a mission state reset on the Light bringer mission since November of 2013, and the GMs told me that only the dev team can do that, and they haven't touched my ticket yet, to this day, that the GMs can tell me.

Yea its one of the reasons i was reluctant to take my mule thru sandy missions past SL. I had heard people gettin stuck on mission 6 or something. What this guy tells me is they said ONLY GMs can reset missions. it cna jsut be a pain in the assholes to get one to respond to ya in the first places these days.
