The army was so amazing between Fridays and Sundays.

God, CQ on a wensday before a 4 day weekend (and it's payday)...that shit was incredible. Doors opened Friday at like 4 or so, the beer came out, and barracks rats actually showered to come out and play.

I was really really lucky in my unit. We were the reception battalion for incoming soldiers to fort wainwright, alaska. I worked 24 hour shifts on the first floor, lived on the third floor (dorms). At like, 2am I got to go pick up girls from the airport (rarely, usually guys). Then, if you CANT get laid with those new chicks, you just suck and should buy a real doll. All you had to say was "you need internet or long distance? Come up to my room."

There is zero point to this post, but I miss the Army sometimes.

Other times...well, I got out for a reason.
