Keyboard issues

Ok, so since the update the other day, whenever I play I can use my keyboard regularly for a few min, then all of the sudden it won't work. When I hit ESC, it brings up my CTR macro menu and it stays up on my screen. When I hit the "L" button, "/linkshell" comes up in my chat window, but I can't type anything. The same applies for "S = /say and T = /tell." A couple of times I rebooted and it would work for a little while, but then would start acting up again. I get the same problem when the game isn't running. If I open either IE or Firefox, my ESC button brings up my Start menu, "W" closes out the window all together, and a bunch of other buttons are doing wierd crap. My Sticky Buttons are turned off, so I know thats not the problem. I have switched out my controller twice, and my keyboard three times. I've attempted to update my drivers as well. I am at my wits end here. Please someone help me out!

Your control key is stuck. Cntrl + L brings up /linkshell in ffxi, Cntrl + P is party, Cntrl + W is the command to close application windows, Cntrl + Esc is the command to open your start menu.

I thought that may be the problem as well, but all three of my keyboards shouldn't have stuck CTRL buttons.

Ok, just tried my fourth keyboard and I am still having the same problem. This is driving me nuts.

Check the Accessibility Options in Control Panel. You probably have Sticky Keys turned on. Turn it off, and while you're there, click the "Settings" button by each of the options on those tabs and disable the shortcuts for them. Should prevent it from coming back.
