Just got turned on to this game from some friends. Installing it tonight.

Astroneer (stylized as ΛSTRONEER) is a space-based sandbox adventure game being developed by System Era Softworks. The player is tasked with colonizing planets, creating structures and mining resources. Astroneer has no set goal and no storyline. A public early access version of Astroneer was released on December 16, 2016.[1]

The wife and I have been eyeing this for a bit. I hate buying early access games, so we're thinking of waiting a bit to get it.

I really enjoyed it.

My metric is "Is it worth more than a movie ticket?" and this exceeds it.

Pros: Fun, relatively simple, great music and ambiance, full worlds, travel between worlds, survival aspects that are fun without being punishing.

Cons: Runs a bit slow, eventually needs a reset due to memory usage (3-4 hours of gameplay), slightly buggy (although nothing at all game-breaking), The intro doesn't cover most of the controls or how to build your base effectively, you can build buildings on top of other buildings and render them unusable (Actually not the biggest problem but certain annoying).

I would definitely recommend it if you like Starbound or Minecraft. Terraforming and exploring are fucking awesome.
