Alright BG nerds I'm looking for some advice here. While I'm currently in sales (insurance) I'm looking at returning to school to finish up and was looking for some advice and opinions on what would possibly a good fit for me. In other words, be the high school counselor I never went to.

I only have credits for pre-req stuff except for intro to windows and some other dumb class that's basically there to create the school money. So, I still have a ways to go. I was originally going for programming because learning XML (thanks Spellcast!) was fun to me and I liked trying to figure out the errors (looked at them like puzzles). Lately I've been wondering if cyber security or maybe something like network admin would be a better fit. A little work background.

Been in sales the last seven years. I like sales, but hate my field. I don't have the education or skills for sales jobs I would potentially pursue. I HATE doing service work so something like tech support is out of the question. I have been diagnosed with anxiety and ptsd so a lower stress environment is preferred. Not sure what area of tech that would fall under.

I've read that people who sell Tech services or products make a lot of money. Last time I was playing poker at the casino I sat next to this guy who said he works for a "large tech company and is based out of L.A." Asked him what he does and he said sales. He said he knows fuck all about tech stuff, but he knows how to talk to people and can sell ice to an eskimo. Said he makes bank and has fun at his job.

Maybe some peeps can post what they think would be a good fit for me and/or post what they do, how they came into that field, and general ideas about pay/happiness/stability.
