Yeah Penningtons starting, and Miami just got way better. Possibly into the realm of 'decent'! 3rd comeback player of the year award incoming, few good games and he can take back the career passer rating title from Rodgers. Though he only lost it cos he went to Miami in the first place..

He has 8 TDs and 10 INTs, and the offense has been awful in the red zone with him under center. The Dolphin fans I know have been calling for this for weeks.

I don't think henne is the issue though. A lot of those INTs aren't on him, although he has missed some easy passes. Red zone execution has been ultra conservative. Playaction on third and long...wishbone formation...seriously. I think henning has tried to outdo himself a bit after getting high on the wildcat.

With that said, Pennington should play well with two possession receivers as good as bess and mashall.

Slow your roll son, Pennington is the master of completion percentage (66.1% career - still ahead of Kurt Warner by 0.6%), not QB rating. He's chilling at 90.1 QB rating, it would take probably 10 straight perfect rating games to start to sniff Rodgers.
