I went with a JP COR trying to replace his bullet he shot. x18 followed by a x18. 36 Akvans and I scored 11 Plates, 9 Headbands. Others were misc crap. My stupid mule has all the luck. I assume because it's Taru and cute?

Ffxidb says that Akvan drops plates 34.7% of the time and headbands 13.7% of the time. After 36 akvans you would expect 12.5 plates and 5 headbands on average, so while your mule did get twice the average on headbands, you came in below average on the more valuable drop. I suggest trying to charm him with your personality next time--it's not all about cute looks.

Nightfall is actually surprisingly common. From my experiences I'd estimate ~25%.

I must have been unlucky then since that was my 6th time doing the BC and a few others in ls had shitty luck with any of the ra/ex drops. Either way, I'm just happy I got a trophy item from the BC since it was a pain in the ass to unlock.

You can get real unlucky in that fight. When it was first unlocked on Asura, I think i did 12 Fights in the week it was available, and got 1 Helm, and 1 Sword.

Yeah, that fight is what completely killed campaign for me. Spent ages unlocking it with a small group, and didn't end up getting shit. Seeing all the scrubs who did nothing get full sets was a huge rage inducer.

Oh yes, I raged like a Motherfucker, I was there claiming those zones the sunday before we got it, Spent Most if not all day there helping... Walked away with nothing (I didnt win lot on either helm or sword, Ironically helm went to a random pick up guy we brought along)... seeing like, half the zone in the full set knowing most of them didnt even realize we were taking it until it was won made me wanna punch a wall with my d**k. YES THAT BAD.

Lucky for me i got over it(Slightly... still stings like an old scar), but yah, FK campaign after that. Got a nice Allied Ring though :D!

We started last Saturday around Noon EST and had people out taking over zones all day. We would shout for people every so often to help and I posted on GW a few times to let people know. I ended up being out there from 6pm EST until JP midnight for it. A couple others put in similar hours.

Main suggestion is to get a dominant lead on the northlands areas since mobs don't show up there very often once you start clearing the zones. Then focus on the City areas while keeping an eye on the Northlands.
