He had a movie come out this year that bombed pretty hard. Forgot the name but it involved all women dying, and all thoughts showing up in image form above people’s heads. From the review I watched, it's problem was that it had too many “hey check out these cool concepts” things going on and if it focused on one instead of 3 or 4, it would have been better.

The production value on everything looks top fucking notch. Hopefully the personalities develop to what we know and love because they look/feel off in this trailer.

both male leads are searingly terrible casting decisions. movie don't look too bad tho, should be a medio action romp which would still make it the best videogame film of all time.

Yeah the cargo plane setpiece looks both cool and Unchartered-y, but I don't think they shot a single brown person so...

Okay wow the casting seems unbelievably bad. Like some of the worst casting ever and for multiple roles.
