Yeah I agree, I had to just quit using any AoEs period, sick of the repair costs. Another strange glitch me and a few of my friends of had is, all your actions are greyed out, so you cannot fight, heal or do anything without logging out and back in. It can even randomly happen mid fight. The other strange thing is, mobs will not attack you when this happens but you do gain exp if your party kills stuff.

i got this the night of the patch while soloing, nothing odd was going on to make it happen, and it went away on its own after running around a bit too. annoying as shit though.

I had something like that occur twice. All i could do was use light slash and tp moves. I couldn't raise my shield witu guard or aegis boon. It's as if the game failed to recognize i was using a shield for those fights. I could still use cure spell but not protect or shell iirc. Was very odd.

This happens to me a well. What I do is just put away weapon, (F) and take weapon out again (F). This helps mid-battles, if happens to happen then.

You know you don't actually lose extra durability for dieing right? At least you didn't pre-patch, and I didn't see anything mentioned about it.

His concern was about AoEs, and while that's bound to kill him, he may have been talking about all the durability lost from having a bunch of mobs pound on him before that happens.

Or, maybe he really did think there was a durability penalty upon death. /shrug

I made some videos showcasing the big changes for anyone that isn't playing and is still interested in the game's progression. Any drastic slowdowns are being caused by Fraps. Also I might have set some annotations to short so you may end up needing to pause some sections. Sorry.

This happened to me while I was fighting some Firestarter Imps and I just figured it was Amnesia 2.0 or something at first.
