The one on the far right is the Avengers suit right?
I believe so
Yeah, should be Mark 7. Though we saw up to Mark 8(iirc) in Avengers didn't we?
No, Avengers had the Mark VII. It looks like he got the Mark II back too.
Looks like a wireframe to me where the Mk II should be I'm sure they can just make to where he got the Mk II back, and during the time in IM2, they drew schematics, and thus getting
the Iron Patriot Armor

Wall of Iron Man news:
http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/6/5/...ollar-car.htmlTony Stark always ends up with the coolest toys and the nicest cars. According to our friends at Latino Review, Stark will be driving around a 2014 Bugatti Veryron Hyper Sport in Iron Man 3, which has a price of of $2 million bucks. So now we know what Marvel is using their $200 million dollar budget for. I guess the Acura he's been driving around wasn't doing it for him so he traded it in for something a bit more badass.
Here are a few other details about the car:
Here's a picture of the car prototype, I'm sure it will end up looking a lot better in the movie. But this gives you an idea of the initial design. The new model will also feature an all-new body said to be inspired by the original Bugatti Veyron concept of 1999. This concept was designed by the current head of Bugatti design, Walter de Silva – former SEAT head of design. The new car will have a top speed of 434km/h… in case the first edition wasn’t fast enough with its 408km/h top speed. The engine will be based on the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 motor, showcasing around 895kW of power and 1500Nm of torque.

http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/5/30...irmations.htmlIron Man 3 is currently shooting in Wilmington, North Carolina under the direction of Shane Black, and it's got the biggest film budget of any of the Marvel films thanks to the ultimate success of The Avengers. It's sounding like they're going to go all out on this one.
As we impatiently wait to start seeing stuff from the movie, there's some details about the villains of the film that have been leaking out, the biggest one is confirmation that Ben Kingsly is playing Mandarin. We've assumed this all along, but now people from the set of the film are starting to talk.
Here's what one source described at ComicBook.com:
Thanks to our friends at Latino Review we have a little more information on Mandarin's role in the film, and a little clarification of the set of "twins" mentioned above. Here's what they can confirm,While talking to some Wilmington locals, we had one source involved with the production tell us that Mandarin was definitely the villain. He said Mandarin had a set of twins that did most of his dirty work for him. Another source who had visited EUE/Screen Gems Studios told us that the sets they were building included Chinese storefronts.
Here’s what we can CONFIRM as true (and not from some guy working security on an off-lot shoot): The Mandarin (as played by Ben Kingsley) is a villain in the ‘Iron Man 3,’ but he’s more a veiled threat as a silent partner to Guy Pearce’s Aldrich Killian. Killian is the man inventing Extremis and putting it into his “Extremis army” of multiple super-powered individuals.
Still no word on exactly how many Extremis soldiers we’ll see, but I’m sticking to my theory that the Coldblood-7 and Firepower casting will not be traditional comics versions of those characters, but instead names they’ve given to Extremis soldiers.

http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/4/20...ron-man-3.htmlThough Lockout was essentially locked out of critics and audiences' hearts, that won't stop the career of Guy Pearce, who's set to star in Ridley Scott's eagerly waited return to sci-fi, Prometheus. Today, Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have announced that Pearce will board Shane Black's Iron Man 3 as geneticist Dr. Aldrich Killian. Killian appears in the "Iron Man" comics in Warren Ellis' "Extremis" run, which this film has long been rumored to be involved in. "Extremis" involves a mysterious nanotech virus.

http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/5/8/...ron-man-3.htmlRebecca Hall (The Town, Everything Must Go) is in talks to star in Iron Man 3. She would take the role vacated by Jessica Chastain, according to Variety.
Hall would play the role of a genius scientist equal to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark. The unconfirmed role could be Dr. Maya Hansen, a character responsible for the "Extremis" nanotechnology that is said to be a key part of the sequel's focus.

http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/5/16...ron-man-3.htmlThe Pacific's James Badge Dale is in talks to play a villain named Savin in Iron Man 3. If he takes the role he'll join Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Rebecca Hall, Guy Pierece, as well as Ben Kinsgley who has been rumored to be playing The Mandarin.
I believe the character Badge Dale will be playing is actually Eric Savin, who's a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army who ends up stepping on a land mine and becoming a cyborg called Coldblood.

http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/5/19...confirmed.htmlA Hong Kong newspaper article recently revealed (via ComicBookMovie) a new plot point for Shane Black's upcoming Iron Man 3, and also confirmed a bit of casting news that we reported on recently. Andy Lau will definitely be playing a scientist who helps Tony Stark, but the plot point is this (excuse the poorly transcribed Chinese-to-English translation):
The film will have location shooting in Beijing and Shanghai, it will narrates that the daughter of Robert Downey Jr.’s friend was kidnapped and brought to China, in order to save his friend’s daughter, he flew over from America to China to seek help from Andy to strengthen his abilities to fight The Mandarin. You will see Iron Man fly over The Great Wall of China, National Palace Museum & other landmarks in Shanghai May 2013

http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/5/24...firepower.htmlShane Black has found one of the villains for Iron Man 3. Variety reports that Ashley Hamilton is in talks to play the small part of government cyborg Firepower. You may recall that in the comic books, the character is the pilot of an experimental armored suit under the secret mission dubbed Project: Firepower. He eventually uses the suit to battle Iron Man.
Hamilton is not only the son of George Hamilton, but the stepson of singer Rod Stewart. He is also a personal friend of Robert Downey Jr., but this would mark the first time they have worked together. Hamilton appeared on the ninth season of Dancing with the Stars before becoming a correspondent on Extra.
Production is set to start this month with Black at the helm of a script he co-wrote with Drew Pearce. The story will be a blend of elements from Warren Ellis' six-issue Iron Man: Extremis, and focuses on the spread of a virus through nanotechnology. Robert Downey Jr. returns as billionaire Tony Stark, while Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, James Badge Dale and Rebecca Hall also star. Iron Man 3 is slated for release on May 3, 2013.

http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/5/25...ron-man-3.htmlMore Iron Man 3 casting news! According to our friends at Latino Review, William Sadler is the most recent name added to the already awesome cast of the Shane Black-directed Marvel film. For those of you not familiar with the name, he's a great character actor that has been in films such as The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Die Hard 2, The Mist and several other movies and TV shows.
Apparently, Sadler showed up for a costume fitting with Guy Pearce. There's no word on who the actor will be playing in the film. But it's speculated that the role will be similar to Pearce's, who plays geneticist Dr. Aldrich Killian. So maybe some kind of scientist?
As of right now Robert Downey Jr., Gweneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, and Jon Favreau are set to reprise their roles. The movie will also star Ben Kingsley possibly as Mandarin, James Badge Dale as a Eric Savin/Coldblood, Andy Lau will play a friend of Stark, Rebecca Hall will play a scientist, and Ashley Hamilton will be Firepower.

I think that's everything that hasn't been posted already.
http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/6/8/...r-machine.htmlLast month some set photos leaked from Shane Black's Iron Man 3, leading everyone to believe that the Iron Patriot would be in the movie, but don't let the red, white, and blue suit of armor fool you. This is actually War Machine, and under the helmet we'll find Don Cheadle as Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes. Of course in the movie, they will be calling War Machine Iron Patriot, it's just not at all related to the Iron Patriot in the comic.
The confirmation comes from our friends at Latino Review, who see the clearly visible white guy in the photos we've seen is just a stunt double, and it's not actor James Badge Dale as previously believed. So War Machine gets a patriotic new makeover, which makes more sense than what we thought was going on.

Well makes sense really...
Lol... "THIS IS AN AMURRRICAN WEAPON NAO!" It def. makes sense, but it still amuses me a lot.
