Has anyone tested if /SAM gets Hassanshins?

I'd assume no since update notes specifically said main job Samurai iirc.

Anyone checked out seigan/counter? My really quick test before I went to work the other day didn't look promising.

Well, all it really means is that Hassanshins with 4/5 Ikishoten shaves two attacks. There's still one merit level left for Blade Bash.

I know its not always going to be true, but since were assuming one would go for the Hassanshin procs cant it be safe to assume we'd be talking about situations where one would be riding hasso fulltime? If thats the case why use Zelus since you could cap haste from the enhances hasso on the af3 legs.

For whatever reason, Unkai Haidate +2's enhancement is magic haste.

Haste bonus on pants doesn't count as gear haste. I don't recall if it was determined to be JA haste or magic haste. Testing was shortly after they were released.

They have been adjusted to not affect recast since then and could have been changed to gear haste, but it'd be hard to test now.

Testing needs to be done on Unkai back and Ace's hands to really determine what's best. SAM is hard to do exact TP builds. Meditate, conserve TP, zanshin, sekki etc. White damage with Masa isn't that bad either which is why a 6hit can make a lot of sense.

Counter rate during seigan seems very low and it still isn't determined what af3 head does for seigan.

1:23 with 7% haste waist (and no pants)
1:26 with 4% haste hands(and no pants)

Pretty sure af3 head allows seigan to counter without thirdeye being up and yah I totally spaced on ja haste and not gear haste I still despise using zelus on samurai

Almace or Masamune? Well, I guess that's not a fair way to phrase this. Which weapon improves or strengthens their respective job more? I'm assuming Almace does more for Blue Mage than Masamune would do for Samurai, but I don't know anyone with a Masamune to pester details out of.

Now, this is going to be a weird one, but I'd reckon a Ryunohige drg is the best DD in the game, given that level 90 ryu gives +25% drakes damage, which already competes with a lot of empyrean WSs.
