If you knew him personally, I can understand sympathy. I didn't. Darwin award aside, I think anyone who dies driving 140 mph while drunk deserves what they get. I'd say at least he didn't kill anyone else but he did, the passenger. He was going to kill someone, someday. At least it was just one other person. The planet is better off without him.
woosh?
lol@ all this bad hype.
I for one love Jackass and feel a great deal of sympathy for the crew and Bam's parents, as they are the ones being tormented by this but... I don't feel as sorry for Dunn. Hopefully this will spark more people to think about shit before getting behind the wheel drunk but I doubt it. Also, wtf@130 in a 55...
Laughed way too hard at this lol
I swear I remember seeing this before his death (or something to this effect), could be tripping though.

The shading on that is amazing.
No, we don't need to do that. If someone engaged in an activity that could have hurt or killed others, and did so willingly (which I am certain he did), there's no reason to respect that person. They didn't respect you or anyone else in the world when they made that choice, after all. What if you or a loved one was completely innocent, caught in a car crash, and killed as a result? Would you still say, "it's all right that they made that decision, because they're my fellow human being"? I'm about as liberal as it gets, but fuck that nonsensical bullshit. Driving a car while drunk is the equivalent of wielding a weapon weighing several tons in public and not giving a shit as to who it hits.
Beyond that, I saw Yuri's comment regarding HIV. Sucks that you have it, but are you wandering around sticking your unprotected cock in people who don't know any better? No, right? Then it's not the same -- not in the slightest. You understand that you can hurt people, and permanently, but you don't do so because you're not a fucking douchebag. Yeah, a drunk driver is fucking drunk, but he was caught red-handed doing that shit in the past, and obviously kept doing it. I'm sure this wasn't just the second time -- it's simply the last time he'll ever be widely reported for doing it.
Ebert gets a thumbs up from me for not apologizing. I hope he doesn't back down.
Nonsensical is not mouring the loss of life. Alcohol impairs judgement, makes people do things they wouldn't normally do. You do realize alcoholism is an addiction, right? You don't just magically stop doing it one day. He obviously needed some type of intervention if he's done this in the past. He wasn't out to cause harm to anyone, so your analogy is fucking retarded. I know you get off on being a cold-hearted prick, but being happy that someone died puts you at a level with the westboro church fucktards.
And fuck Roger ebert. seriously.
Stupidity impairs judgement even more than alcohol.Originally Posted by Guitarman

So the guy did something stupid. People make mistakes and do dumb shit, and darwinism sorts them out.
Doesn't mean you have to be a dick when they die. Of course it's fucking retarded and he's an idiot for drinking and driving. It's still a shame that he died, and his friends were the one who suffered as a result. Maybe you should be sympathetic to them, because they are the ones who will have to live with his reckless choices for the rest of their lives.
And just because they are celebrity doesn't mean I need to suck their burnt up dick when they die either. His friends and family are heartbroken yes, makes it all the more reason it's fucking selfish and retarded what he did. You can't just go "oh people make mistakes" to everything and brush it off. That's a shitty out and if he wasn't some dumbass from jackass you'd say the same thing. He took another life with him in the crash, how anyone can defend his actions with "stupid mistake" is beyond words to me.
