Figured you're all taking far too long to make the new thread, so I'm on this shit.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 8
New Orleans @ Seattle - On paper, possible the biggest mismatch in history. The defending champions have to travel to the site of a team who has four fewer wins and is being regarded as the worst playoff team in history. NO has recent playoff experience, has the more talented players, has the better coach, and has routed this team earlier in the year. Seattle has a guy with the body of my grandpa behind center and Clipboard Jesus backing him up, no defense, a record that wouldn't even make them bowl-eligible, and their saving grace is a loud stadium and the fact that no one believes in them. Saints should win in a rout, which of course means that the Seahawks will win.
NY Jets @ Indianapolis - C'mon, he's Peyton Manning. Ryan will have to remove his foot from his mouth after this game, provided someone else's isn't already in there. No miracle run this year.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 9
Baltmore @ Kansas City - Ravens suck bro. Charles gets 7 carries for 145 yards, Jones gets 22 for 80. I still don't know if Flacco is more like Matt Ryan or Mark Sanchez. Ravens defense is good, KC's is solid but they also are at Arrowhead. I'm a believer.
Green Bay @ Philadelphia - This won't be the marquee matchup everyone wants. Philly is hurt. Our Oline sucks, our defense gives up way too many points to be able to stop Rodgers, we don't run enough to utilize McCoy correctly, and we make all the worst mistakes at the worst possible times. Vick is mortal again, Rodgers is a beast, their defense is solid, and GB is peaking. Eagles are gonna lose big.
