That still doesn't make sense. According to the trailer the time paradox starts at the end of FFXIII, where Lightning suddenly vanishes. Everyone thinks that she never made it out of Cocoon when it was falling, except Serah who knows how things really went.
Either way their focus was complete so Snow shouldn't have his mark anymore. Not to mention that 3 years without turning into a Cieth doesn't seem right.
