Looks pretty...pretty...bad. Looks like The Raid Redemption plot mixed with some drug to give a reason to put tons and tons of slow mo into the movie.

Lionsgate will be kicking off Comic-Con 2012 with an advance screening of Dredd 3D this year at Comic-Con! The Master of the Web panel will be hosting the event, and the screening will take place at the Reading Cinemas Gaslamp on 701 5th Ave. in San Diego on Wednesday, July 11th at 10:00pm. Karl Urban will be their to introduce the film to all of the fans that make it in.

The Masters of the Web takes place on on Thursday, July 12 in Room 24ABC from 4:30-5:30 p.m. and it will be moderated by Dredd 3D star Karl Urban (Star Trek, The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King), with special surprise cast members from the film. Panelists include Mike Sampson (ScreenCrush.com), Jen Yamato (MovieLine.com), Mali Elfman (ScreenCrave.com), Erik Davis (Movies.com), Steve "Frosty" Weintraub (Colider.com), Grae Drake (Fandango.com), Jenna Busch (Cocktails with Stan Lee), and Edward Douglas (ComingSoon.net/SuperHeroHype). AMC is generously providing free movies passes to all attendees of the panel this year!

Dredd 3D is set to open in theaters on September 21st. Head on over to JudgementIsComing.com where you can register for the Comic-Con screening.

The slowmo is supposed to reflect the drug that the bad guys took but yah, I'm not a fan of it due to the horrid Zack Snyder.

I'm aware. Thats why I said as expected. Doesn't stop it from being a horrible gimmick though.

Sat through the previews on total recall to find nothing but cheap, resident evil sequel quality cgi action flicks like this. I will see it, but I know it's a cheap crapfest ahead of time.
