I haven't been sold on 3D Imax yet. There something about not being able to see a movie within the confines of my nonheadmoving field of vision that i dont like. I think I'm going to see a normal version first, then 3D Imax afterwards

That's why you never sit closer than midway down. IMAX has spoiled me....I have to watch movies that way if they're released in that fashion. Plus, this movie was shot with 3D cameras as opposed to converted in post. It's supposed to rival Avatar in 3D visuals.

Awesome. I remember saying "fuck converted 3D" after Tron, but bought 3D tickets to Avengers like a dumb ass. Waste of money. Glad this will actually be worth the extra cash for some good 3D.

I can't watch 3D. I get migraines that are only compounded by watching this shit. I've seen both Avatar and the Avengers in 3D. Both times I walked out of the theater wanting an icepick and a hammer to end it all. I couldn't even enjoy either movie as a result of it. Avatar was the first 3D movie I had seen since I was a kid so I had hoped I had outgrown it. Avengers my wife told our friend get anything BUT 3D and all he heard was 3D lol. Fucker. It makes me sad I can't won't see Prometheus in 3D. If I did I might actually die. Or kill myself.

Just saw it.

Spoiler: show

Felt alot like Alien, pretty good overall. 3D was superb, and didn't feel off at any point like in some movies.

Raised alot of new questions like usual, and it didn't really answer that much old stuff either. A couple of the scenes/moments made little sense to me, and didn't recieve proper followup. Not 10/10, but it's up there.
