why am i getting flashbacks of the "Generation X" tv movie that came out years ago... I am NOT looking forward to this lol
Looks like it says "School for gifted yo" lol
Is this not in the same universe as the x-men trilogy? Why is the beast already blue and why is angel there?
Beast turns into his more feral being through the movie, according to what has been said. Angel isn't in there. Angel Salvadore is a shitty character from the early 2000's X-Men that is part bug. She is the girl between Havok and Mystique in the picture. As for it being the same universe, they say so, but idk.
Angel Salvatore is one of the worse mutant's created by Marvel... if you are gonna go on a free for all for mutants give us some of the cool one's like Jonothon Starsmore or Polaris. I would say Blink too, but having 2 "colored" women on the team may not work since they seem to love Mystique.
Sounds like that cast picture (of them all in costumes) was a mock up
.

I like how the helmet is too big for his head and tilts when he raises his arm.
The images he flipped out about are the ones posted earlier in this thread?
If so, those images look better than this goofy looking cosplay helmet. This could be worse than X3.

Interview with Matthew Vaugn/
As an avid reader of the X-Men comics, I have no idea wtf he is saying. I'm trying to remain open-minded till I see the movie, but this worries me.Did you have any concerns about how, no matter what you do, you may anger some of the die-hard fans?
Yeah, but I could tell those fans that they’re wrong. One thing about the X-Men world is that, if you know your X-Men universe, every writer reinvented the storyline. I did my research, and none of the histories of the characters make any sense. Each writer just totally changed the history to make their plot work. So I can quite safely say that X-Men has a history of reinventing its history for the sake of the plot.
