So anyone know where the closest bonfire in Blight Town from the sewers is at? This area is a fucking gauntlet of enemies........I wouldn't mind a checkpoint.

Got it right after resting at a bonfire.
And got my last pyro spell. Huzzah!

There's one not very far in. you should come across it if you keep going. Believe it's down a ladder right after you take care of a few blowdart guys and other random depraved.

Also glad I blew 25k some souls on that merchant's badass looking gear prior to Blight Town, would have lost them all otherwise since I was too cocky to go back to the sewer bonfire to spend in levels.

[EDIT] Found it.......I apparently ran right past it the first time. >.>

I wish they actually performance tested this zone, it's running worse than anything I've seen so far.

I'm 40 hours in but I feel like I haven't gotten anywhere D:

Just watched speed run because I said fuck it... All the bosses look bad ass and will probably wreck me.

So is Tomb of Giants a dead end until I can traverse the 'brilliant lights'? I just walked through there getting everything there was only to discover it is apparently a dead end with lots of lizard signs and one saying 'I did it' which is really confusing.

I beat the twins in Anor Londo and saw chest lady and got the Lordvessel but have no idea what to do now. Maybe I get cursed and go to New Londo, Tomb of Giants is just a dead end..

Maybe I'll go back and buy pyro spells from egg dude for now. I want to join spider ladies covenant for the spell but I'm afraid to join any covenants at the risk of not being able to join later.

You can join any Covenants you like. The only real drawback is if you rank up one and then leave it you lose your Rank (but not the items you may earn from ranking up). Simply joining one, and then joining another won't affect anything between the two or any others.

Go to firelink. In the water area before the graveyard you will see something new. Go there and it will open new paths, including the one in Tomb of the Giants.

Or you can just do New Londo boss first which would have a different effect. Areas will still be opened, but you will also be able to join another Covenant that you wouldn't be able to otherwise.

Armor upgrades. Takes 10 to push one piece to +5 and most of the better armor is upgradeable (except the better helm pieces)

Yeah I think I will join the Darkwraiths and do New Londo first, sounds badass being able to invade others without a warning and put my Chameleon spell to good use.

Going to go around and join all the convenants now, hopefully build up my warp locations in the process.

Ok, I'm really lost now in Blight Town.

Ended up getting a bonfire down in a swampy spot near this tunnel that leads to a single chest. No fucking clue where to go from here to get to wherever the second bell tower is at. Wandered a bit and found another firekeeper soul, so score 1 for me for whenever the fuck I find a way back to the shrine.

If you went up a tree branch to get to that tunnel, there is a fake wall behind it. Past that is the Great Hollow and then Ash Lake. The boss of blighttown is actually in the swamp area. looking around a bit, you should see a big white mound with long black pointy stuff sticking out. the boss is there

Ok I need serious help. Im in UNdead parish trying to fight the gargoyles but I cant win no mater what.

Ive freed Lautrec of Carim, talked to him back at the main place and his summon sign wont appear (even when I'm human). Any help would be greatly appreiated.

Farm souls, buy bombs from the first merchant. Get Gargoyle 1 to 50% then BOMB DA SHIT OUTTA HIM. Then proceed to #2. I used that strategy for a solo run, would be x2 easier if you get the summon going.
