this been my sorcerer setup and so far it's been my favorite character to level. I should've spent less on str and more on dex but still.

started using a shield instead of two fists for bigger enemies.

went through undead burg np. I ended up taking both the Dragon Bridge shortcut and the shortcut past the warthog. Thought it would take way too long to kill that thing.

Decided to just eat hits from the Minotaur instead of bothering to dodge. Cause that's the man's way!

I did attempt to kill the Black Knight up in the tower, but that ended up causing me my first death. Backstabs were doing less than 40 each. I did about 10 or so backstabs before I finally messed up and it killed me.

saved and killed Lautrec, equipped they fap ring

upgraded my fist to +3 then went up to Gargoyle. I thought the naked undead horde would cause me a lot of trouble, but they were pretty easy.
Accidentally backstabbed the trident dude off the balcony and it was a pain in the ass to get him to move forward enough so that I wouldn't agro the 3 knights behind him.

me and sunbro raped the gargoyles.

Now I'm deciding if I should be leveling up STR or DEX along with my VIT/END
I'm gonna be using a shitload of poise, so I could just go berserk on people with STR, or I could concentrate on parry/backstabs and go with DEX

Think I'll go kill Moonlight Butterfly next. Well, Beatrice will kill the Butterfly.
Then I'll go to New Londo and get my second Firekeeper Soul
Then maybe I'll farm up 20k souls, open up Sif's door and farm up some Resin from the shrooms
Then I've got to decide if I'm gonna take the shortcut to Kelloggs or go through Capra and Gaping Dragon and then go the good old fashioned way to her. Though I'm not sure how well I'll do against Capra at this time.

Caestus are STR/DEX C/C so you'd get the best results keeping them even. You'll get the same damage from both and there's decreasing returns every 10 levels so only boosting 1 will hurt you in the end anyway.

Backstab damage isn't increased by DEX btw.

What works best on these crystal golem dudes on the way to seath, god damn they are annoying... taking me like 10+ hits with kellogs fury sword and they seem to come in pairs, then that one asshole on the bridge... too early in the AM to be raging.

use a pure physical weapon and just circle them constantly to stay behind instead of rolling around

Went to go kill Moonlight Butterfly, so summoned Beatrice and killed it. I literally did nothing. I punched its face when it landed, but I did so little damage against it, it actually had more HP when it got back up. Then I went to grab the Elite Knight Armor. I usually kill the plants/statues guarding it and I destroy the stone guardians with my fists, so I decided to this time; Bad idea, Ceastus suck ass against multiple long range enemies; died. Went back, just ran through and grabbed the elite knight set and the Wolf Ring.

Went back and killed the Titanite Demon near Astora for no reason. Got my Ceastus up to +5 and bought the Artorias Seal since I had the 20k souls. killed the 3 bulder knights in the church and got Bulder shield, huzzah.

Went to New Londo, grabbed the Firekeeper soul there then went to Blighttown using the shortcut.

With reckless abandon, I grabbed the firekeeper soul in Blighttown, essentially commiting suicide; died. Got my Estus up to +3

Went back to Blighttown, killed some slugs, but the slugs seem immune to my lucky droprate I've been having, only got 2 green and 1 large titanite. Went to the Tree and got the Cloranthy ring.

walked back to the bonefire in the bottom of the swamp, but on my way back I found out just how much Ceastus suck so very hard against mosquitos. Ended up getting killed when I was attacked by a big fire bug and 2 mosquitos.

Got to the bonfire this time, humanity'd up, killed Maneater - though I almost died once or twice due to damned mosquitos again. Then went back to bonfire, leveled up.

and that is where I am now.

Next I'll kill Kelloggs, maybe take out Ceasless Discharge for the souls.

Then I'll go to Sif's forest and kill some mushrooms for Resin.

Then I'll try to take on Capra Demon and if I can kill him, then I'll clear the depths since the Depths is pretty easy and I can grab some more large titanite shards.

Then I'll probably go to Sen's Fortress. I was thinking about draining the water in New Londo, but since I'll be upgrading my +10 ceastus, I dont need the flame that ascends things to +15

I just went to invade someone's world but I was summoned instead. What made it weird was I summoned into the spot where you go when you invade and got raped by the mob standing right next to me in my confusion.

Just tried my Karmic Bomber build for the first time. One-shotted this person who tried to zerg me down. God damn I love this game.

What would you guys pick; Uchigatana +15 or Moonlight Greatsword +5 for int/dex build?

Haven't actually touched the Moonlight Greatsword in this game. Does it retain it's "Can't be blocked" properties from Demon's Souls?

I switch now between Moonlight Greatsword and Velkas Rapier, I guess I just like them. What are some other option you'd use for int/dex?

Fast swinging weapon like Painted Guardian's with CMW?

If you're specifying INT/DEX it's kind of a silly question. Moonlight doesn't scale with DEX nor can it be enchanted.

For an INT/DEX build it just comes down to [standard +15 DEX scaling weapon with good attack speed] for when you're enchanting and [magic+10 or enchanted+5 weapon of your choice] for when you're not.

Moonlight can take the place of the latter but it's not a terribly good weapon overall other than the single damage type property.
