    FF6 re-structure

    Wasn't sure the best way to title this but I'm playing FF6 again on my SNES emu and wanted to try a different way to play through. I used the Cheat mod on SNES9x to unlock all of the espers from the start but I want to give myself a handicap by limiting what characters learn what and not just power everyone through with everything.

    I'm probably going to give everyone at least some magic except for maybe like Strago and Mog ( can't remember if he can use magic ). Any suggestions on class assignments?

    So far I'm thinking;

    Edgar - Paladin
    Locke - Debuffs only ( mostly )
    Terra - Black Mage
    Celes / Setzer - Red Mage
    Shadow - Dark Knight
    Relm - White Mage

    Even thinking of leaving Sabin and Cyan without magic or just putting them with an esper that buffs strength / agility and HP on level up.

    Anyone got some input on this or if it's been tried before?

    I realize I'm assigning Locke as debuff RDM instead of a pure thief and giving Shadow dark knight instead of a pure ninja, maybe I'm giving myself less of a handicap by upgrading their classes, but with Locke being a starting character making him essentially a ninja makes him more interesting early on.
