You're right. He's not just a starting QB, he is THE quintessential QB of teams looking to establish a dynasty.

I hope to God Orton ends up on the Panthers somehow. Miz really needs a clearer picture of his fail.

yeah but then they could trade places with the rams and make the playoffs in the west

4-12? I assume youre talking about his TD to pass attempt ratio?

The charge states that the players' union has failed to bargain in good faith as a result of its strategy to "disclaim interest" (or "decertify") and file antitrust litigation against the NFL following expiration of the collective bargaining agreement March 3.

The NLRB is an independent federal agency, based in Washington D.C., that enforces the nation's labor laws and referees labor-management disputes.NFL Scouting Combine on NFL Network:

The league made the filing as a proactive measure to protect against possible decertification by the players' union.

The filing itself is a public document, in which the NFL claims the NFLPA has engaged in "surface bargaining" and tactics designed to avoid reaching an agreement before the CBA expires so the union can file antitrust litigation against the league.

NFLPA officials met with every team during the course of the season to vote on possible decertification in the event of a lockout or labor impasse, and the measure passed.

The NFLPA has rejected the claim against it and once again pointed out that league owners opted out of the current CBA. The union has previously said it expects the owners to lock out players.

    And boom goes the dynamite.
Late to the party, but this move is to set up an eventual declaration of an impasse so they can force their last offer on the players. From there, the ball is in the players court and they can choose to either take an ass reaming in the forced offer or lose any ground they have by striking.

This is all coming down to the billionaires putting millionaires in their place.

Wow, that really makes him look greedy and doesn't paint a very good picture of the owners. Surely he doesn't need an extra billion from the pie to do things besides improvements to the stadium that he doesn't have to pay for in the first place.

Edit: Oh yea, the reason the Packers numbers are even out there is because they are publicly (i forget the exact term for it, but theres no rich billionaire owner) owned.
Try going into your job and asking to see the books and see what response you receive.

P.S. That's not what the owners are trying to argue for exactly.

Imagine, those T E A R S could have turned into B E A R S had they kept Orton. Orton woulda won that SB easily, and I'm talking about the whole thing, not 1st or 2nd halves.

    Agree 100%

Or the Eagles. Imagine if Orton was on philly you would've been forced to be a more balanced team with leshaun blackperson and wouldn't be raped repeatedly by the nfc north when teams figured Vick out.
