Tom Hardy talked a bit about what it's like to wear Bane's face mask in The Dark Knight Rises. Here is what Hardy had to say in a recent interview with Total Film (via Contact Music):

"It allows a performance to be free. The only downside is you can't hear a f**king word anyone is saying. Batman can't hear me and he can't see me speaking so we sort of stand there looking at each other for a while. We've been doing hand signals!"

"I put my thumbs up when I finish my lines or I wink. And he sort of wiggles his fingers out of shot and I go, 'OK, now I've got to run up and kick you in the b******s!'"

Am I the only one who thinks she looks completely generic? Obviously it is Nolan so it won't be traditional but Catwoman should still be distinguishable from "Bad Guy #3".

I gotta agree, it looks really generic. Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman will always be my favorite. Costume-wise at least. I'm sure the Nolan's will do great things with the character though.

Interesting seeing her with the Bat Pod. Makes me think she's either stealing it, or going with the theory that Batman gets put out of commission by Bane for a good portion of the film, and Catwoman "fills in" for him. Got a year or so of guessing...

We can't really say if thats the full outfit though. And we can't even get a good look at most of it. Basically Nolan has given me no reason so far to doubt him, so until he does I'm just gonna assume he knows what he is doing.

Anne’s outfit is more tactical, like the comic book, than the previous Batman movies. She will definitely be wearing the goggles and it’s going to be less sexy than Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman costumes. She’s going to look more like a robber....But fan boys shouldn’t be worried. This costume is going to be form-fitting enough to make Anne look smoking hot....Everything from the looks in her eyes, her head movements, her body–everything is so feline. The role is taking her to new places

It looks like Warner Bros. Pictures released the first photo of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle because they knew a stunt double would be filming a scene today in the suit on the Pittsburgh set for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.

Looks good, and fits Nolan's take. They can't give the bitch kitty ears or a skin-tight polyvinyl chloride cat-suit. Although, Michelle Pfeiffer really pulled it off great; slender figure, dat bone structure, etc.

Hathaway looks like Femshep though, more than anything.
