I think people who make those Terminator movies forgot what made T2 great. It wasn't just the amazing special effects at the time and the concept but it actually had a pretty emotional story. It was basically about a kid having hard time growing up without ever knowing his father and his mother being in jail. Arnold wasn't just a killing machine he was his best friend and a first person he could count on. I can still remember that monologue Sarah has where she talks about the role of Arnold is Johns life. This new movies just focus on special effects and the story suffers every time because no one connects to it. They should look at Dawn of the Apes where they still have great effects but it goes hand in hand with actually a good story.

It's like a Mashup of the first 3 films minus the story.

The TV show actually did a lot of those things fairly well (though admittedly it had more time), and introduced a few good twists. Too bad they canned it right as it started getting good.

At least the new ones don't have Edward Furlong, so that's always been a plus.

Those are kinda old, but I never noticed how Jai Courtney isn't even looking at what he's shooting (apparently something on the ground).

Eh, I think the others may just be due to the camera perspective, except maybe Jason Clarke's. But they're definitely not as obvious as Jai's.

This is why I have watched T2 10+ times and I could still watch it (and probably will) again. Moving forward for T5 I'm setting the bar extremely low.

And everything looks good in that poster aside john Connor. I don't get why they are so hell bent on showing everybody what could of been a major plot twist out the gate
