So when the page loads it's blurry but if you scroll up then back down it's ok? Does it happen in other programs or just FF?

I decided to get some experience with Linux and ended up settling on Ubuntu 12.10, but for some reason the text looks... wrong in firefox, squished somehow. This is despite downloading and changing the fonts to the Microsoft-included Times New Roman and Arial flavors at the correct size. Anyone have any ideas? I've been googling trying to figure out a solution to fix this for a good while now but I've been coming up dry. Screenshots available on request.
Having issues with my dual monitor setup, wondering if anyone has any ideas for how to fix it.
Both monitors are 2048x1152, I'm using DisplayFusion to have different wallpapers on each of them if it matters. My graphics card is a Radeon HD 5870. Any time I try to fullscreen a game, my PC flips the fuck out. Anything windowed runs fine but as soon as I fullscreen a game, both monitors blink out, the game stretches across the entire primary display and onto part of the secondary display, and then if, somehow, the game doesn't crash, it becomes super blown up (almost like it's displaying at 800x600 or something), and my secondary display becomes unresponsive. This will also crash any other games running, usually. I have no idea what's causing this but it's pretty annoying to watch my desktop have a heart attack every time I run a game that defaults to fullscreen.
Interestingly, I didn't have this issue when I was running the FFXIV: ARR beta in borderless fullscreen mode (but I did if I ran it in bordered fullscreen).
Anyone have any ideas?
Are you using Eyefinity/Hydravision?
I have no idea what either of those are, so I'll say no.
Does this occur when attempting to fullscreen a video also?
Eyefinity is a function in the AMD driver that "combines" both monitors and makes programs/games think you have one huge monitor with the combined resolution. Helpful for games that don't support multi-monitor.
Only thing i could think of is that the games go nuts because of the unusual resolution... Have you tried to turn them down to 1920x1080 just for testing?
I tried figuring out if I have Eyefinity enabled, but Catalyst Control Centre sucks wind and none of the examples for enabling/disabling it matched up with my version of CCC. I tried creating a "group" but it told me my desktops were already part of an "extended" display and I would have to disable one of them to make a group.
I'll try lowering my resolution to 1920x1080 and see if it helps anything.
Hopefully this is the panel you wanted to see.
Apparently I'm upgrading to fiber in a couple weeks. Which means I need to buy a new router/wireless adapter to replace my shittastic ATT DSL modem/router. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should I be looking at in router/wireless adapter products?
Couple questions regarding PSU installation
1) Cable clutter - Going to twist-tie these down in a bit, but is it safe to just stuff the unused connectors into an open drive bay?
2) This case is old, and it has a 'foot' for the PSU to rest on (pic below), but it blocks a bit of the PSU fan since it's larger than the one that I'm replacing here. Will this be a problem for the fan which'll require me to have some fun with the pliers, or should it be fine?
Would have went modular, but there was none in store for the watt-range I was after, and wasn't in the mood to spend an extra $50 for one for a PC that's obsolete.
I know this is an older post, but I have heard Adobe exportpdf works quite well: https://www.acrobat.com/exportpdf/en/pricing.html
May also be a standard feature with acrobat pro if you can find a copy of that
Can someone refer to this post and help me out please?http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/115...h%29-questions
To add to derock (cuz i'm a fan) but if you have alot of devices that support 5GHZ get a dual band router for WIFI
Somebody have something like Zapgrab? Trying to d/l Zapgrab is like finding a clean whore in a bad part of Asia.
Since you didn't really say what you're looking for apart from the program name, i'm guessing from google that you're looking for a screenshot program?
Greenshot.
Does anyone know where I can find a working Cyanogenmod Rom for the HTC Thunderbolt. I don't care if it's ICS or Froyo but I can't find one anywhere. I keep finding links but when you click them the file is not found. It used to be on Rom Manager but no longer is for some reason. Any help would be appreciated.
