TAKE MY MONEY! The video definitely gave a better perspective on the game than the earlier ones. It seems like the minor quicktime events give a lot of breathing room compared to NG2. Can't tell how many times I've done nothing but rolled around and kited mobs while panning the camera just to get a glimpse on what's left to kill in NG2. Can't wait to check out Hard mode to see if it truly lives up to the NG experience.

Also, not sure if Ayane is still busty or if it was just the coat. Day 1 buy!

Coming soon, Super Duper Hard Mode where an army of nonsense one-shot you off camera.

Pretty much any qualms I had with the stuff we've seen before have been alleviated. I don't like the wall climb shit and the stealth sections are eh, but apparently we can just run through them and murder the fuck out of everyone like normal so we'll see. Only real issue I have now is the lack of decapitation/limb severing. Never thought I'd complain about something like that but it looks fucking stupid with how gritty and up close all the kills are to suddenly stop doing them (ignoring the PS3 versions having it cut of course).

Not getting my hopes up that they've learned anything, but I'll try it out regardless because I love action games. Camera still looks shitty though.

    3/20/12 Release Date

    http://gematsu.com/2011/12/ninja-gai...-order-bonuses

Tecmo Koei America has tied a date to Ninja Gaiden 3. Sticking close to its March 22 Japanese release, Ninja Gaiden 3 will launch in both standard and collector’s editions for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on March 20, 2012 and on March 23 in Europe.

Those who pre-order the game at GameStop and Amazon will get access to a downloadable, two-character demo stage from Dead or Alive 5. GameStop pre-orders include access to characters Hayabusa and Hitomi, while Amazon pre-orders include access to Ayane and Hayate. In Japan, the demo characters differ by version.

Those who purchase the Ninja Gaiden 3 collector’s edition will have access to all four characters in the demo. The collector’s edition also includes an exclusive “Unmask” game art book, soundtrack CD, and “Duel of the Masked” figure. It will only be available at GameStop and EB Games, and retail for $99.99.

“With Ninja Gaiden 3, Team NINJA has created a fresh new way to take players behind the mask of the world’s greatest ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, where they must choose when to give mercy or wreak vengeance to learn what it means to be a dark hero,” said Amos Ip, SVP and General Manager of Tecmo Koei America. “Our preorder packages at GameStop and Amazon and our massive Collector’s Edition will give true fans their first chance to experience the unique fighting action of Dead or Alive 5 on day one when Ninja Gaiden 3 ships.”

Here's the Ninja Gaiden 3 collector's edition (with bonus screenshots)

There probably isn't a person alive who hasn't, at some point in their life, enjoyed the sight of a ninja flipping out and killing a bunch of dudes. It's universal, like how everyone enjoys warm blankets or shooting firearms. There's a special kind of person, however, that also has an affinity for extreme, debilitating punishment, which is why Ninja Gaiden 3 exists.

NG3's collector's edition, which we first caught wind of last December, includes the game, an art book, a soundtrack, a figure set of Ryu Hayabusa and an eventual murder victim, as well as a download voucher for a four-character demo of Dead of Alive 5. Non-collector's edition pre-orders placed at Gamestop and Amazon will include a code for a two-character demo of DOA5, with Gamestop's demo including Hayabusa and Hitomi, and Amazon's featuring Ayane and Hayate (the four-character version includes both Amazon and GameStop's characters).

The collector's edition will be available exclusively at Gamestop, indicating that Tecmo Koei truly understands the unique relationship it has with its player

Glad to see the Blade of the Archfiend returning, although lack of dual-wield makes me sad. Hayabusa vs. Metal Gear Ray looks awesome.

I like how there is a picture that says "expect to fight this boss no less than 3 times"

Then right under it, he says how there is no challange to the game. Lol
