We only care because she's hot. There's no reason any deeper than that.

4-Year-Old’s Headstone Removed Because One Person was Offended by it.
By Tribunist Staff on June 1, 2016
A mother is devastated after the city council removed her deceased son’s headstone following a complaint from another family who said it wasn’t “in keeping” with their family member’s plot.
Max Corbett-Gardener was only 4 years old when he died from complications related to severe epilepsy. His mother, Jo Corbett-Weeks, scraped and saved for nearly three years to get an almost $5,000 specially-made headstone of a teddy bear holding a star inscribed with a heart touching tribute to her son.
On what would have been Max’s seventh birthday, Jo had the headstone installed as a special present to him.
But just three days later, Jo returned to find the headstone removed from Max’s grave.
She told local reporters: “It would have been Max’s seventh birthday on the Sunday, and this was like a birthday present to him from me.
“I chose a star-shaped stone because I wanted something suitable for Max – something personal. This stone is just so perfect for my poor little chap.
“I was totally unaware this was going on. The council did not contact me and it was the stonemason who told me he’d been ordered to remove it.
“I feel upset, distressed and angry. We have been through so much as a family. I could understand if the grave was uncared for or unsightly, but it isn’t.
“The headstone meant a lot to me and the family but now we are fighting to have it put back. It’s a horrible situation. We just want to have somewhere to grieve.”
It turns out the council acted after a single member of another family with relatives buried in the cemetery.
“We have a conformity of shapes in our lawn cemetery. We were contacted by people who objected to the shape,” a Malvern Town Council spokesman explained to BBC. “The longer it stayed up, the harder the process would have been.
“It was a very difficult decision to remove it but one we had to make straight away,” the spokesman said.
The council is arranging a meeting with Corbett-Weeks to discuss a new design for her son’s headstone.
"Have Headstone Owner Associations Gone Too Far?"
i want my headstone to be a giant dick.
I bought a unique headstone for my cousin that means a lot to me and my family. I couldn't even begin to imagine the distraught over such petty bullshit this mother is feeling. I'd be livid and just see red.
Better, http://oglaf.com/bliss/
Who the hell gets offended by a teddy holding a star?
Offended may not be the right word, at least not the way it's been thrown around on the internet lately.
This happened in the UK, and the complaint was likely from someone with a yard of rebar up their arse about there being a not 100% somber and serious headstone present. Small towns there pmuch seem to run on such tinpot dictators.
Well this is right out of Phoenix Wright. Lady claims pet parrot is repeating her murdered husbands last words before he was shot.

Endangered baby dolphin dies after swimmers pass it around for selfies
By Peter Holley February 18
A rare baby dolphin was killed in Argentina after it was pulled out of the water for photos.
An endangered baby dolphin was killed on a beach in Argentina last week after the animal was plucked from the water and passed around by beachgoers for petting and photos.
The incident, which took place at the beach resort town of Santa Teresita, has drawn wide condemnation from animal lovers and activists, including the Argentine Wildlife Foundation (AWF), which released a statement urging people to return dolphins encountered near the shore to ocean waters.
La Plata dolphins — also known as Franciscana dolphins — are only found in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, and fewer than 30,000 of them remain in the wild, the foundation said. The only type of river dolphin to inhabit saltwater, Franciscana dolphins are categorized as “vulnerable” on the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Species.
The IUNC notes that the main threats to the dolphins are gill nets, which are known to drown, injure or attach to marine mammals, causing extreme fatigue, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
But as it turns out, curious swimmers and other beachgoers are also a top threat.
Video footage of last week’s incident shows the animal being scooped up by a man and quickly surrounded by a curious mob eager to touch the animal.
The miniature dolphin, no more than a few feet long, is eventually left to die in the mud, where it can be seen lying motionless.
At no point in the footage does it appear that anyone in the crowd intervened or attempted to return the animal to the water.
“The potential for recovery of this species is very low,” the AWF said. “The Franciscan, like other dolphins, can not long remain above water. It has a very thick and greasy skin that provides warmth, so the weather will quickly cause dehydration and death.”
NOAA describes La Plata dolphins as “extremely shy and evasive by nature” and notes that what little is known about them is “surrounded by superstition.”
