guy 2 gives fake address.

guy 1 calls cops saying guy 2 killed his father and is holding the rest of his family hostage.

cops come to fake address and kills 28 year old victim who has fuck all to do with any of this.

I think guy 1 deserves a stronger punishment for sure, but guy 2 didn't have to lie from a threat. He didn't need to say anything at all. It was off of twitter. If someone is threatening you on twitter to swat your home, you know what you do? Fucking block him on twitter, not give someone else's address. I mean guy 2 clearly knew what guy 1 was going to do with that address, so he knew that a swat would get called on an innocent 3rd party.

Because he doesn't really sound like a victim, but also harassing the other guy. It just that the other guy's harassment was far worse, therefore they should both be punished but the other guy have a stronger one.

Of course I think the cop is also at fault, but I didn't think that needed discussing and did not put it in the cop thread as I didn't want the topic to just focus on the cop.

If true (random tweet doesn't have any screenshots of guy 2 doing the first alleged doxing and well even the DM screenshot isn't really necessarily proof) then sure guy 2 is in shit as well... at least morally not really sure how much can be done legally. But keep in mind this is a random dude on twitter with no real proof who when asked by the local news for contact info to talk about it refused

Edit: according to that guy seems to be some 3rd dude involved and sounds like he was the one actually making the call so if true add him to guy 1 in terms of guilt maybe higher
