    Well, I guess 100 years of war mongering and colonization doesn't just end that quickly. I just don't see why he doesn't go see Iroh instead knowing how batshit his dad is and knowing what happened to Sozin after he also started out with good intentions that went awry.

    Iroh was never fire lord, so wouldn't be able to speak from experience like his nutcase dad can. Iroh would still be the better decision, but Zuko isn't exactly known for making the best decisions right off the bat lol

    Still is dumb for him not to go see Iroh first. You'd think with all the soul searching he did and all the guidance he got from Iroh throughout the series made it the very source of what kind of Fire Lord he wanted to be. Not to mention Iroh is a fucking boss son!

    Why back out now from all that to see his batshit father who gave him all his mommy issues and first world problems to begin with? Just seems odd overall and I hope his re-bitchified character isn't central to the new series.
