Actually, I think that Silent Hill may have been the best/most faithful video game turned movie there's been. If they would just put a little more meaning and depth into the story I think they could be great and legit films.

If I recall correctly they also used soundtracks from the game in the first movie, I know they put "Day of Night" in it.

Isn't the last pic with Rose a scene from the first movie? Looks shooped unless you have a link to the photo source. Was bugging me but I didn't feel like popping the DVD in just to check.

Same source as those other new pics. As for the actress, Radha Mitchell, she & the guy who played Harry, Sean Bean, in the first film will be returning. This film will some how a continuation of the first film while being largely based off of the 3rd game.

I'm so irritated with them bringing pyramid head into this movie just because he's "recognizable". They better fucking have valtiel or I'm going to rage.

Also I really fucking want one of those Robbie plushes.

So how bad does it suck that I've never played a Silent Hill game? I enjoyed the first movie, but I guess I'll never get around to playing the games considering I don't have a PlayStation any longer.
