of course it all comes down to how the movie is shot, if its shot in 2d and converted, that is fail, but if its shot on a 3d camera it makes it SOOOOOO much better

completely disagree as I've seen shots where hubby's company has had to "save" because idiots directors not knowing how to use a 3d camera right. And that happens quite often. Outside of Avatar, there's no film that is pure 3d camera. at most maybe an hour of a lot of these films are 3d camera, the rest is 2d shots converted into 3-d, or 3d filmed shots overlaid with 3d conversion to fix it.

I could be wrong, I admit. But I'd still say they had fixers. I should have said "most" instead of "all" since I don't know every single movie on the market.

I see a lot advertised though as "film in 3D", while I know for fact that they had parts fixed up.

The movies knows about the overuse of 3D, realizes how awesome NPH is and how he should be dead but isn't because he's NPH. Did someone in Hollywood actually visit a forum or something?! Very excited!

The only thing that I hate about 3D movies is that in most cases, they just use it as an excuse to waste more than half the movie. Its been long enough, they should finally be over the "LOOK WHAT WE CAN DO WITH 3D" phase and get back to having actual content in the movies.

Then they still have the slow motion and hands at the screen/ball flying at you, but only in 2d which makes it look even worse. Ever seen the new resident evil in 2d? Half the scenes look ridiculous and it's not just because the director sucks...
