I wonder how Winfield will fare, he was the "new guy" in the squad who contacted his father. Father got ignored by the army officials state-side, and then Winfield (allegedly) got manipulated/pressured into killing an innocent civilian too.

Unlikely that anyone higher up will have to take responsibility about ignoring a serious complaint though. :/

They do have psych evaluations. Different branch, different kind of test. I know if you take any kind of meds (anti-depressants, etc) they won't let you join unless you've been off them 6+ months with a doc signing you off.

There's been a campaign by Blackwater to have media outlets refrain from using the word 'mercenary'. No US broadcaster uses that word anymore. It's all 'civilian contractors'. When you're watching the news and you hear 'civilian contractors killed', it's not like the terrorists offed the cable guy, or blew up the Roto-Rooter van. That's 'mercs dying' in a corporate-friendly message.

Not just US mercs either. Blackwater brought in former Chilean army soldiers (who can't get a job due to "war atrocities"), local mercs, south african mercs, other african mercs, other countries' mercs... it's a big clusterfuck.
