    Test Data Compilation Thread

    Purpose: The purpose of this thread is to compile test data for various subjects. Repeats under different titles are allowed, but label the link. An example:
    Enmity (Specify in parenthesis): Link here. This format is less direct because you do not view the data directly under each title, but it allows for "laziness" while maintaining structure and accuracy. When linking to a post link their post number (The top right of their post), not the entire thread.

    The remainder of this thread will be dedicated to discussion on formatting the first three posts (I've given a template, but we can fix it until official release), dumping data here, and logistical concerns. By dumping data, I mean copy+pasting data here instead of linking to the post in another thread (Especially important if that thread will soon be nuked due to trolling/other activity).

    How do we want to do Empyrean Armor? Go by name? Or say "Empyrean Armor (XXX)"?

    (Job) Empyrean Armor (Slot)
    Thief Empyrean Armor Feet, for instance, would be my vote.

    Does anyone have a link to the JA delay testing? I remember it was on Alla, but can't remember anything beyond that. I'm interested in replicating it.

    Awesome, that's sufficient and now I feel like I don't have to run my own test! What tab do you use to get your Step Accuracy, by the way?

    Steps should be listed on the Debuffs tab, with success rate.

    Awesome. Looking through some old parses it looks like Step hit rate caps at 95% like normal melee hits. This also gives me a way to test if there's any Hit rate penalty associated with the Steps. Figuring out the penalty (if it exists, which I suspect it doesn't) will let me optimize inventory consumption.

    This makes all the "Step Accuracy" options Dancer gets seem pretty silly though.

    Thorny's sample was huge and had Feathers at 57% for TH2/25% for TH0.

    Basic conclusion from this is lolTH3.

    Those tests are only on single drop crafting items. I've seen testing from various sources that indicated that TH3+ increased the frequency of multiple items dropping and that it could be good or mediocre depending on the mob's loot pool. Not a lot of testing on it though. I also tried to get a good collaboration going but it sort of fizzled out due to me not having THF at the time and other people kind of not really caring too much (besides maybe 1 or 2 other people.) Either way there's still not much that can be said about Treasure Hunter with a good measure of certainty. I think the best approach, if anybody wants to figure it out, is to consider various types of loot pools while making observations.
