Posting on page 911.. Ya I'm bored only 12 hours to go!
I left the page numbers as the default because all the gif signatures in the General forums start locking up my browser sometimes when there are 100 signatures to load. A bad excuse, but an excuse nonetheless.
I accepted this after killing mobs that still had a sparkly healing effect on them multiple times. It was infinitely more annoying when they got healed right before I killed them.
I'd allow Blue Mage if their primary weapon was a giant two handed spoon. Can you just imagine how silly it'd look?Obviously Blue Mage will use oversized utensils like Quina in FFIX. It will also branch off of Culinarian and become a bastard DoH/DoW/DoM love child.
I thought we were all in agreement that the term Blue Mage would not be uttered in this subforum, for obvious reasons.
Can't be helped if the director and producer of this game mentioned it himself.
Serious talk, back when I was hoping jobs would derive from multiple classes, I had pegged SAM coming off of Gladiator and Fisherman (or some kind of "Ronin" class using a katana), DRK from Thaumaturge, Marauder, and Botanist, and Ninja from Gladiator, Alchemist, and Culinarian. Does ShepardG still have that 20MB+ GIF?
It's practically begging you to use Tapa-talk.
About DRK, it would be easier to imagine how they implement it after seeing how they do ACN, SCH and SMN. If the base skills (or at least the 30+ ones) are modified for certain job crystals (like PLD would get GLA skills 1-50, DRK would get GLA skills 1-30, with 30-50 modified) it would certainly be easier to have a completely different role than the base class.
Honestly, I just wanna see how SCH/SMN is handled.

In Beta phase 3, if your Duty Finder party wipes when challenging Ifrit, the party will automatically be disbanded. In phase 4, however, we will be making it so you are not kicked out and can re-try with the same members.
Also, as a side note, the exit point when winning the Ifrit battle is set to Dry Bone. The primal battles for quests all have fixed exit points; however, for the harder primal battles where you can acquire primal weapons, you will be returned to where you initiated the Duty Finder.
