I might be confusing it with something to do with them only popping when under beast control, never had to farm them first hand so your intel's prolly better than mine.

atm helping a friend with them. We kill the the High priest right next to the recall then he retraces himself (duoboxed blm) trades it in and recall backs. Was just wondering if anything faster.

My friend set his HP in Ru'lude and went WHM/BLM. Recall -> Warp while I stood at the high priests killing them. It just takes time.

Here's a good one: I came over to afghan, and to make room on my hard drive, removed the FFXI game and expansions, while leaving the Playonline program (i didn't think i would have dedicated interwebz while I was over here) My intent was to suspend my accounts at the local MWR at some point. We'll low and behold, i've got internet in my room, but I don't have my FFXI install disks. I'm sharing this connection with a few folks so it's not the greatest but what i'm looking for is a location for some .ISO images to get the game re-installed. I've downloaded all of Kohan's patch files (that person is awesome btw) but I haven't been able to find the disk's themselves, short of re-purchasing them from amazon or having the wife send them over.
here's the kicker, P2P is sort of frowned upon on our little internet over here, as it would crush everyones bandwidth. Any suggestions?

FFXI is old. It was designed for 56k usage. That means the packets that are sent to the server aren't very bandwidth intensive. As a result, you should be fine playing FFXI.

That's good to know, i was more curious about a hosted install disk(s) image, I ordered the ultimate collection from amazon (like the 6th copy of FFXI i've bought, SUPERGEEKAMI) but i was trying to find it hosted somewhere, i found one, but didn't include wings of the goddess, so my search continues

If you have everything else, there's a wings iso on pirate bay that's 350 Mb. There doesn't seem to be many seeders and leechers though.

350 mb shouldn't be too much, not sure the total bandwidth you have. You can also limit the maximum bandwidth that the torrent is allowed to use.

I've never seen the High Priest inside the castle not drop them. I've had to go inside a number of times due to people killing the one outside.

Is there an easier way to target people in an Alliance? Maybe some sort of Windower plugin?

For example, when I'm healing in Abyssea I always have to spam tab until I target the right person that needs healing, which wastes a good chunk of time.

spellcast (or even just spellcast lite) and //c5 firstfewlettersofname

I find that to be a lot faster than stal, as long as the people in your alliance don't have very similar names that all start with the same first 4 letters.

I was told there was Testing on BG about a month ago showing "Bounty Shot" Gave Treasure Hunter IV, but that any level of Treasure Hunter Overwrites it, even TH1.

Looked over Wiki said its basically TH2, Overwritten by TH3, Nothing lower.

Maybe someone remembers seeing it :X?
