While I understand it given the hockey population of the home markets, it's a shame that not a single game of the Preds / Ducks series is currently scheduled for national broadcast. People will miss out on an absurd series in my opinion. The homer in me is saying Preds in six, the realist in me is saying someone please Nancy Kerrigan Corey Perry's knee. GPR line vs. Weber / Suter / Rinne has gotten all the attention, but I am honestly more worried about Teemu Selanne. I think the Preds' do a solid job of keeping GPR within acceptable scoring figures, but Teemu vs. Klein / Franson / Blum / O'Brien is going to be tough; Selanne is like the Lidstrom of forwards.

Really really would love the Preds to win a series at home. Nashville really does have a wonderful fan base and it would be fantastic after years of one and done; the standing ovation explosions during TV timeouts are awesome. I've been to Hawks / Red Wings / Rangers / Penguins / Flyers / many others home games, and I would put the Bridgestone crowd up there with all of them. The key to the series is clearly:

Gotta agree, it's one of the matchups I'm looking forward to most. Best line in hockey vs Rinne and Weber? Gonna be awesome.

Someone help me out here. I have NHL Center Ice and Time Warner Cable. Usually I can look forward on the DVR schedule and see the game, record it, etc; but when I go to tomorrow night at 10:30 PM, I can't see the Ducks / Nashville game in any of the center ice channels. Searching the TV listings also yields no Preds / Ducks games. Halp!

It's going to be televised in Canada on TSN but no American channel has been released yet. I would think it would be shown on centre ice though. If the NHL and US tv networks both said Fuck Corey Perry I would love it.

Apparently the guide lineup hasn't synced with the actual NHL playoff schedule; probably because it was up in the air until Sunday. It will be on Game11 channel for anyone else wondering.

In waiting for the results of the lottery draft, I tuned into the fantasy draft for the playoffs, and Jones picked five Preds players to fill his roster, a roster which only had 12 spots, lol.
