when it's potential confirmation of shit that hasn't been confirmed in the books yet I'm pretty sure it should be tagged
when it's potential confirmation of shit that hasn't been confirmed in the books yet I'm pretty sure it should be tagged
This thread has no spoiler tags.
Again, you don't seem to be grasping that this is a spoiler for people that have read every single book, side story, anything.
Unless you want some snape killed dumbledore shit to happen when the next book is about to come out, yeah, that kind of shit gets spoilered.
You don't seem to grasp that if you've actually read the whole thread there are TONS of theories, explanations and other tinfoil hat stuff that may or may not pan out. None of them are spoilered and as agreed during the release of ADwD, there is no need to spoiler anything in here except for the week of and after release.
You don't need spoilers for the book thread never have.
Shut the fuck up
So if I find out the ending of next book a month before it comes out it's cool to post it here with no spoilers?
don't be fucking retarded, I'm trying to be respectful to people that want to find out what happens in the books once they're fucking released, and this isn't some theory about the books using purely info we know from the books, this is "btw someone may have just spoiled the future books"
the theory has been discussed; someone that regularly talks to the author and show writers referring to him as that person, while talking about discussing it with those people, has not
Guys.
The spoiler rules have been here long enough that you guys need to read it. End of discussion. Books have 2 weeks of spoiler tagging and that is it.
Theories don't need to be spoiler tagged unless you somehow know what the next book is about and are somehow future trolling everyone. In which case... contact me when the book comes out.
This isn't up for debate. Refer to the rules if you have a problem.
that's exactly plow's point, though. it's not just theory, it's confirmation of the theory.
I would prefer that stay spoilered, much like the advanced chapters.
It's confirmation of a theory by an actor. An actor from a series in which the season hasn't even been written yet.
The only two besides GRRM that knows what's going down is the showrunners
A good theory about Jaime I came across a few weeks ago. Makes sense even though I think the person reads to much into small details. Anywho, enjoy:

While I agree with spoilering potential confirmation of theories...show of hands, who doesn't actually think Robert Strong is the Mountain's body?
It's fucking obvious.
It's cool and all how we're almost at a full page of butthurt because someone did spoiler a spoiler, but let's just let it go.
some of this is pretty interesting, but man that guy is retarded, especially in the comments heh
the biggest detractor is that aside from the one single thing about the golden armor, you could literally put any of dozens of names in that exact same theory and have it come out the same
most specifically arya who's going through more of a rebirth than anyone, and if you're going to relate the smoke, and the salt as a feeding of guests, to a major event related to a rebirth...
and even the golden armor thing could just as easily have been dayne and ned (or Howland) and the stone giant could very well be the tower the whole story hinges on
yeah you can get pretty interprative with the prophecies. golden armor could even just be sunlight (or fire) silhouetting someone in a particular scene.
also, tyrath, that wasn't the point. the point is that people jumped on plow for *gasp* erring on the side of caution where spoilers are concerned.... and then tried setting the whole rule by the most obvious theory in the books. just stupid. BG sure is awful when it comes to game of thrones.
hell it could be this
I think it could be a lot of people but I'd favor Jaime to be linked to the one-handed god of war. Fits a bit better for me at least.
yeah, but that's just one of the many theories he's weaving together
I think my favorite is the part where the 2 absolute textbook lannisters are the ones that are the products of rape and not really lannisters at all. (as in neither parent was genetically a lannister)
Especially given how perfectly that shit would fit for Tyrion.
