ok so we beat wall of flesh on arkanna's map how do we hallow stuff.
can corruption spread without people in the area?

Anyone know what the Bow/Axe/Sword/Potion/Cross Statues do?

Most of the statues do nothing, apparently. Only a few can be activated with wire/switches.

How can i get corruption to stop spreading into my house area. I tunneled all the way around with a 6-block gap, and the corruption jumped it anyway. I'm going to just hollow the whole damn area thing out and make it a lava pool. Spread through that bitch!

Looks like if you have enough Heart Statues you can solo Wall of Flesh, Twins, Skeltron Prime, and The Destroyer all at once. Wonder how long til a nerf.

Either way, gotta start my world over today during my lunch break.

How do you get WoF and one of those others in the same place? Does WoF go all the way to the surface? Or can you spawn the others in Hell?

Was with Admin controls, but yeah it's totally possible to hardly move and take out the bosses with enough of the statues.

Where's he getting the mp? Can you just spam mp pots?

I'm not familiar with magic so can't really say. I'm not even sure what magic he was using.

He's using crystal storm, which you get from crafting the magic book you can buy from the Wizard. He's getting his MP from mana flower, which is an accessory that automatically uses an MP pot when he gets low.

This isn't really feasible without cheating... there's no way you're going to get 20 heart statues like he did. You might find maybe 1 or 2. Also, it would be difficult, but not impossible, to get that many mana potions.

well I'm on the other bg server. I've built a tower to house npcs and some other person added more rooms so people can stay and store while on adventuring

Yeah I was on there some today, added a couple of things to the spawn area tower, a crafting room on the very bottom, and some obsidian pillars to the entrance walkway.

Is the server performing ok? It's a dedicated box, but it's not a super-powerful machine and it's hosting a Minecraft world and four Terraria worlds, heh.

yea people dont go online for some reason ~_~ was trying to also make it like totally hallow as corruption sucks

cayos finding 20 heart statues is possible and legit if you just start bunches of worlds and farm em over and over

What accessories do you guys use? Currently I've got the cloud in a balloon, obsidian horseshoe, shield, spectre boots, and swap in either the melee/archer charms and the new dive helmet. I have the wings, but can't decide which other option to dump. Do you use the wing in place of the spectre boots? I'll miss running fast I think . I could maybe go sans dive helmet unless I know I'll be swimming a lot, in which case I'll use the mermaid thing.

Idk how cloud in a balloon is but I got rid of my normal cloud. Don't dump specter cause they basically double flight height.

Do light and dark wings do the same thing?

If The wings allow slow fall, do I need horseshoe? You can combine the shield and skull to get both properties, so horseshoe may not been needed.

You don't even have to slow fall with wings to avoid falling damage. Lucky Horseshoe is completely useless with wings equipped.

So yeah, wings are kickassawesome. Wings, cloud/balloon, spectre, shell, and obsidian shield ftw. I'll keep my emblems around for bosses, but otherwise this setup rocks.
