I believe Otherworld was to be a wild re-imagination of Terraria, basically an HD wash with a new take on mechanics and items.

I was so annoyed when this was just completely cut off and only showed like half the trailer during the conference since it was really the only thing I was looking forward to in the pc gamer show when they mentioned it in the beginning.

Looking good though, I like the quality of life changes + a huge amount of new stuff apparently.

This is suppose to be 1.3.6? I would imagine the next major update would be the final if they really plan to stopping support for this game with 1.4.0.

Honestly I'm just happy this game has received the love and support it did from the developers, originally it wasn't suppose to receive any content updates after 1.1.0 I hope whatever they do next they're just as passionate about supporting as well. This game has easily been one of my favorite sandbox adventure games that I return to almost once a year to play from start to finish with friends, can't say that about a lot of titles I own.

Patch launched today, first impressions of Master Mode and Journey Mode I really like how they handled both and I'm really sad that this will be the last major update of the game. I hope their next project provides 10 years of a lot of fun.

Master Mode is hard as fuck. Played it today with a friend, fresh characters and all. Honestly we played for about 5-6 hours and we haven't even beat our first boss yet. Its brutal, admittedly we're taking it slow because everything hits hard and we're resourcing for two, but its definitely a challenge and i'm worried about the bosses and how hard they'll be.
