Yep. Also, I apologize for not having any screenshots chronicling this.

Ran into a friendly linkshell who was also doing Cara pops and we quickly came to terms to alternate pops, blah blah blah communication. So my shell is standing at Liege and waiting on the ??? to repop when Chewy runs up to us and asks for the next pop, in auto-translate. I shake my head because I've literally worked with this guy for hours in the past week. I tell him no. He calls me a dick and runs off.

A moment later he comes back, right up on us. Fail on our part for not having a popper ready and Chewy manages to sneak one in. This is where we realize something is wrong.

Chewy is using a katana. He's exclusively using Jin. He never even tried Ei. And he's taking off maybe 4% with each WS. I notice he's doing nothing to stop Aeroga. I notice he's eating Venom 3 times instead of trying to just OOR them.

Best of all, I realize that he's stacking regen atma, because our leet friend here is recovering 1%/tick while poisoned. We call him out on his gear, telling him he's wasting our time and that this is why we didn't want him shoehorning in, since by that point we'd've killed two more with proc. He tells us, plainly and I believe completely without irony, "I cant proc."

I inform him I am aware.

He ends up wiping at 22%. He homepoints, because fucking Apoc, how does it work? I jump to claim like a tard and end up squandering a free KI.

We finish with Liege as he's coming back to the ??? only now he's with a MNK and a RDM. We run off to clear a couple more Yagas. This is when I start getting tells from the other LS we'd worked out collaboration with. Basically, he's asking to go in front of them. Still with no procs. Other shell ignores him, obviously.

The other shell moves to Carabosse. I get a tell from the other guys mentioning that apparently the MNK and RDM and now a random WHM with an amusing bazaar comment saying she realizes her gear is not good (at least she's self-aware!) only even came for the Atma. Yeah. They talked to the monk and relayed that they're limping along and hoping for a lucky red proc and that Chewy just keeps farming pops when they fail on Carabosse to proc.

Other linkshell gets them their Atma. No one tries to ninja gems, but while waiting for the pool to clear Chewy's group ninja-pops another Carabosse, citing "i knew u would say no if i asked so i had to try somethin." Other shell drops them from alliance but sadly did not yank hate on Carabosse first, something we both realized after the fact.

At this point my shell's also ready to move onto Carabosse. We stand around watching with the usual trash talk in /say, mentioning out loud that it's a shame Chewy scammed all of these people into farming him Gems with the "promise" of an Atma he never bothered to try to get them. Someone on my end asks why he isn't brewing them yet. It gets better here, though, because as we point out in /say that Chewy is a retarded douche trying to scam people into putting a masamune on his assault-jerkin-fulltimed-SAM the monk disengages. He drops. I know this because Chewy mistells "sea Mar" into say. Two linkshells cheer the monk. The RDM moves away. The WHM moves away. They begin to teleport.

Chewy is left with a Carabosse at 11%. That's where this screenshot comes from. He DOES manage to kill it, but not before using 3 temp potions and a pair of elixirs. No brew, though.

Shame.

this is why you just let other parties die :X

honestly I'm not mad and I don't think many people from our group needed it but their defensiveness got me on the offense, and I was considering lotting it.
I'd probably be dropped though, who knows. I don't need to make a bad name for my mule or the group i was with.

It's 2011, you'd think a WAR/DNC (wat?) with Ukonvasara, PLD/NIN, RDM/WHM, WHM, and a RNG claiming mule could kill DI and not rage it right?

Guess not; it didn't even fully rage. Adding insult to injury, our WHM d/c'd when we reclaimed it after rage and we killed it WAR/NIN + NIN/DNC from 43% and accidently broke its horn @ 9%:
