Yeah, I know I'm 3 weeks late to this party, but here's my 2 cents anyway.

He used to be in my social LS. I haven't done much with him since the level cap went up. The few times that I helped him with missions or getting his DRG AF, he would record everything that we did. Like, everything, even if it was a 20 minute run to where ever we needed to go. And he'd narrate too. Unfortunately, he took most of the videos off of Youtube. Helping this guy was way more effort than it was worth. Explaining DRG/mage was pretty much impossible. No matter how many times I told him, he'd still just cure himself with Cure I/II, instead of using his wyvern. The concept of a 6-hit and haste gear was pretty much lost on him, but I think he eventually caught on.

And something else that kinda irks me about him is that he's got like, 20 different polearms in his bazaar for max gil. How the hell does anyone have the inventory for that?

I've seen two people with at least 18 items in their bazaar for max gil, one of them was RDM out and about doing stuff. No idea how someone can function with that much inventory missing.
I guess angel wings and other assorted shit is important, though.

I wasn't sure where to put this but I think this is best here. Basically, We were working on popset for Raja, and I was kind of bored, since I knew how the damage from Discoid would work and I knew it would've already one shotted me, and I couldn't find any fools drink, etc. One hundred-fists later, with a whole lot of medicones, and the rest... is history.

So, here's a story of my Random Fail today.

I'm sitting in Jeuno as per the norm and I see a guy named Crypticshadow shout. Now, I like to screw with this guy cause he's gimp as fuck, stupid as fuck, and thinks he rng friend Lexxy who full times a Vulcan staff on his Gandiva Rng is the best Rng on the server.

So, he's shouting for something. I don't remember and I made a comment to him about being gimp. Now, his Dnc is like REALLY gimp but he thinks it's okay to be that gimp because it isn't his Main. W/e lol Anyways, he starts calling me gimp and doesn't back it up. Just keeps shouting it over and over, soon his LS chimes in, Lexxy, Greenonion, and a bunch of other idiots start calling me gimp and when I ask them to explain it to me they say "Bcuz ur gimp".

After 15 mins of this, I say "If you explain to me in detail why I am gimp, I will pay you 1 million gil". So they take this challenge and start listing these asinine reasons for me being gimp. I'm gimp because I don't /war, I'm gimp because I'm /nin and a rng shouldn't be /nin because /war offers more Dmg, I'm gimp because I use my Crit daggers, I'm gimp because I don't full time a Vulcans staff for the extra ten RA, ect, ect. After 30 mins of that they switched tactics and starting calling me out to Parse, to prove that Lexxey's /war Vulcan Staff Rng could out dmg my Yata /nin Rng. That was 20 mins long. It was fucking painful.

Finally after 50 mins of this, I finally say, Fine, I'm gimp. I'm gimp because my Rng isn't 100% complete, because I haven't gotten that Crit Dagger from Dynamis yet. So then they freak out saying I owe them 1million gil because I admitted to being gimp and those were the rules. And it just went on and on. After I think a total of an hour and 20 mins of this they all start saying "LAWL U GOT TROLLED, U GOT TROLLED, U GOT TROLLED".

My god, this was the first time a shout war with a bunch of people gave me such an extreme headache.

Im prob out of the loop on new axes, etc but I thought Vulcan was still the best for ranger since jupiters crit rate doesnt apply to ranged?
