Hawkeye in Secret Avengers and looks exactly like Renner in the movies. Subtle much, Marvel? Least Secret Avengers is a good book.

Well, every time a Marvel movie rolls around, expect the comics to match the looks of the characters to increase sales. Remember when Daredevil carved the target into Bullseye's forehead so as to be like the movie? Having said that, I expect Secret Avengers to be balls to the wall awesome since it's Remender taking over. And dat Art Adams cover hngg...

    They have a difference?
I remember reading Ms. Marvel around Dark Reign time and, while I love Sana Takeda's work, I couldn't tell the difference between Ms. Marvel and Moonstone when they didn't show the costumes.

WTF X-32 canceled, fuck you Marvel. At least she gets to finish writing through #20, which brings Laura back to Utopia. can write a proper conclusion of sorts then since she will be appearing in avengers academy or w/e as a regular

    comics I got this week
    Spoiler: show
X-23 - I like Phil Noto's work, but Sana Takeda just blows me away all the time. Valeria and Franklin look great, and that dragon at the end was awesome. Also, I love how she did Hellion's powers. It really looks like energy. Fun, amusing plotline written by Marjorie Liu as well. Sad it seems there are only two more issues

X-Factor - Madrox dying would suck. Peter David made him one of my favorite characters with the Madrox miniseries and X-Factor over the past few years. That being said, I still think there are just too many characters in X-Factor right now. I'm not sure how I feel about the villain either.

New Mutants - just an ok issue. It is a setup to everything that comes. Evil death metal band? Just outlandish enough that it might be awesome.

Venom - kind of a filler issue, I guess? but a good filler issue. The cover is absolutely awesome as well.

I think she will also be in Venom for a few issues along with Red Hulk and Ghost Rider in a special event.

I don't know why some of the series that were series got canceled. ._. They were all limited series anyway...

and yeah.. Takeda's art on X-23 is so beautiful :D :D :D I really dig it.

I really wanna see Gurihiru back on some books though, their beta ray bill still gets me all the time ^_^

not so much that, but the first post should have said "the best way" not "the only way". If it was the only way, all those folks who go buy stuff as it comes out are unimportant, which makes no sense.

I understand what he is saying in the second post, but it is an eyesore.

Ya, ends at 21. Axel Alonso addresses X-23(and confirms the end of Daken as well) in this weekly thing he does

    link
There have been a few cancelations hitting the news of late on this front as well from "X-23 and a number of other titles. Is there a takeaway you can give fans about that news? Is it expected that some of these ideas have a shorter run and then go back into the drawer?

Alonso: It's always disappointing when a title comes to an end. I'll bet everyone reading this column still mourns the death of a title or two they loved -- and wonder why the book didn't stick. And I guarantee you that as frustrated as a fan might be, there's a writer, artist and an editor who are even more disappointed. That's just the way things go sometimes. The market won't support it.

That said, I'm proud of X-23's run. Two successful limited series and an ongoing series ain't bad. Ditto for Daken [who is also ending his series.] From a supporting role in "Wolverine: Origins” to the lead of ongoing series that included him slicing Frank Castle to bits -- enter Franken-Castle. Both were characters that gained traction in a market that, well, doesn't really have a great track record of supporting new stuff. And both characters anchored legitimate monthly titles. We don't do R&D at Marvel. We'll stick by a title for a while -- like we did with "Spider-Girl" -- but there comes a point where that title has to earn, usually sooner than later.

    Fantastic Four 600.

Read it, right now. Even though people have known for a year what would happen in this issue, the way in which Hickman got it there is epic.

Oh and its 96 pages of story, all totally relevant and with zero filler.

Am I supposed to be left with a giant WTF?! at the end? Was good though, really enjoyed the Negative Zone stuff.
