I've spent $200 on a F2P game before. It was League of legends and it was over 2.5 years.

LOL, so there was a test period today and it seems almost everyone that got in could not even launch the game. Yes its beta, but the game could not even start....

I tried the session today and it launched fine for me. I logged in pretty much right when it went live.

This game is worse than I imagined. Played the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance, which was a decent beatem up, but why the hell would anyone want to play a point and click version of that? It's literally a skin of D2.

^ Yes the game reeks of cheap.. the animations are horrible and the textures effects being used are bad. I want to like this so bad but damn. all they had to do was an instanced online co op, with leaderbords and unlock-able characters in the shop etc. the entire 4 hulks running around is stupid .

Did anyone play this past week of beta?
I enjoyed it, I still won't be buying the Ultimate founders Pack. I bought the Ms. Marvel Pack and I might spend another $50 to get The Human Torch, Emma Frost, Spider-man, and Iceman(when he gets released.) based on how much I like and will still play.

I played and I got the UP. I find it really fun even though I can see plenty of issues with the game, over the past couple of weeks they have fixed a ton so I have pretty high hopes for the future.

Maybe I read the info wrong, but it sounds as if the premium packs just unlock everything for you from the start instead of making you unlock everything yourself. So.... you're paying $200 for an UNLOCK EVERYTHING cheat? Wha?

For a free game, I'm enjoying it. Needed my fix in this genre after finishing up Torchlight 2.
