I went in the first day, kind of messed up and died in a bad spot, but the 20min time extension I found at E-7 area, a Goblin Statue amongst the VT Gobs there, near the treants.

I had searched the area where it was listed on the map for a good 15-20 min, and didn't find it there either, so just started wondering around after and found that one amongst the Gobs.

The ones marked 5 (20min) are the ones that move around in various places among the families.

Okay, finished another run, and things discovered:

    1) Apocalyptic Beast is well... PATHETIC with all of the enfeeble items. Tossed them on at the start, and throughout I only saw 4 TP moves be readied, none of which went off due to being locked. He hits hard-ish, 350ish to me early on and then ~350-400 to Yuly when he was >25%. Acc seemed to go up pretty high when he got low too, he started hitting accurately, even with Spiral Spin and one +2 evasion axe. Nothing but Fiendish Tome II: Chapter 5 dropped. Go go BST90/DNC45 solo~

Also oddly, the ??? for a KI didn't appear... maybe you get it automatically on win now? Already had it myself.

    2) Scorps/Mandies/Crawlers is good farming. If you're a JA-heavy group go Crawlers (00->08 ) -> Mandies (08->16) -> Scorps (16->00) for consistent procs. Watch out for Statis from Scorps, and Barong likes to wander around scorps, so careful.

Is it possible that TEs can pop up in one or the other of Beastman camps?

On BG-Wiki Valkurm map, it says Warchief pops west of Selbina. But for us it popped at I-7 (in the trees where leeches are in regular valkurm). These were both Orc camps. I know the ones east of outpost were EP but I didn’t check the what the ones west of selbina were

Can you use widescan in the CoP dynamis? That's probably why the location of the TE's move. SE trying to be crafty...

Yes, you can use Widescan, but it's easy to find the moved TEs. I really just use it to pinpoint them in Buburimu since it's a fairly large area with not many landmarks.

Just locate the IT groups of beastmen, the TE5 seems to cycle between them.

There are 4 10 minute TEs that are always up. One of each in the low level beastmen types; orc, goblin, yagudo, and quadavs. These are usually all EP mobs to a lv95 so far I've seen.
There is 1 20 minute TE that varies between one of the four higher level beastmen camps. These are usually DC to Tough mobs to a 95.

Just did a second bubu run... was pretty accurate on 4/5 TE from all post on this and ffxiah. couldnt find 5th TE. Got about 8 -1s sadly no thf, almost all acc from each type of mob... a few of each to be exact, and about 50 currency all together. I had subjobs unlocked from start, and just randomly got procs if i was lucky... tried to proc 0 mobs, simply killed for speed to see what id get. got a nightmare chop r/ex from one of the mobs... dont know what it pops yet. I procd nightmare mobs with yellow at random times using magic, ja, and ws. couldnt find a pattern, and if i changed mobs right after i procd a diff mob with for instance magic... the next mob was something different for proc. in bubu stay away from those dame slug mobs on eastern beach... o man they are hard... damn virus. Dont know if -1s are area or mob specific drops. was getting same ones from all over... got sorc hands -1 at least 5 times from different mobs... /drop.

    went in boxing with 4 char. 91thf, 92nin, 92rdm, 92blm.

Nightmare Chop r/ex - "A tender cut of lean meat said to draw the attention of a particular creature."

Currently in Dynamis Tav, Boss pop off normal mobs, was a complete joke with 7 people.
Fiendish Tome II: Chapter 14 off Diabolos himself, Nightmare Clusters and Leeches dropped Chapter 16 and 17, Kindred Ninja dropped Chapter 15.
    For Procs:
    WS: Hornets/Tauri/Makara/Cluster
    JA: Leeches
Hydras followed the same proc system as other Dyna zones
Only Clusters and Leeches conned Tough to Level 95
The Bugards on F1 dropped Cleric's Legs -1, apart from that same mobs dropped the -1s as before.

Popped Diabolos Nox, definatly need a BRD for Noctoshield, most of us started hitting for 0 when it applied it. Extremily evasive, has some degree of Auto-Regen. Only tried it with a lowman group without a BRD, and couldn't damage it at all.

At least in Qufim, there are definitely EP and EM-T monster populations for Nightmare mobs and beastmen. The EP Nightmare monsters drop the boss pop like candy. I filled out some parts of the sheet a little more, but weapons are the combo breaker.

The currency market is going to freaking crash. I got 100 singles while running between groups filling out the table.

Oh yeah, I marked up this map with the EP Nightmare mobs just for funsies:

Excellent. Hopefully it lowers Alexandrite prices some by proxy as well.

I'm pretty sure it'll boost up the Alex prices, if anything. Easier for people going for mythics to farm gil.

I added a map to my above post. The main things of note that may not be entirely apparent from the map:
    * There are 3 EP Nightmare Roc onry
    * There are two groups of EP Snolls for some reason. I only did proccing on the northern group.
    * There are two types of Nightmare Weapons (RDM and WAR), I think. They both seemed to proc to the same thing at the same time, but if they didn't it might explain their pattern is weird.

As long as people realize that yes, currency is going to go down but yes, you can farm more (same amount of gil gained per run, basically) then yeah it should drop. This is FFXI though, so people will see the price drop and not realize new proc system and not farm thus making the price go back up until they realize it's easier 5months from now.

Bah! Shall see what happens in a few months, I guess. It's a likely situation however. :\

Went into Valk last night subs unlocked, and killed hippos and manticores after getting all TEs.

TE were the four 10 min ones and an orc tombstone so still supporting the "can be any higher tier beastmen" thing. Hippogryphs for our group rotated as 0-8 magic, 8-16 JA, and 16-0 WS. However, manticores were 0-8 WS, 8-16 Magic, and 16-0 JA.

Looking at Byrths chart, it said that manticores rotated magic/JA/WS. This makes me think that perhaps it changed even further and rotates what order it starts.

We will be going in again tonight and i will post if anything changes.

Think i found out the system a little bit for valkurm. i believe mobs that drop the same currency share the same proc system.

Treants, manticores and Goobs all drop shells and were JA proc from 16-0
Flytraps and flys both drop Bynes and JA proc 0-8
Hippogryphs drop bronze and JA 8-16

didnt check the other side of the map but looks like a soild pattern

If anyone wants the Zilart dynamis maps you can get them here: http://www.gamefront.com/files/20810...namis+Maps.rar

I will update the CoP dynamis maps later once the maps are set, assuming someone else doesn't beat me to the punch. All the maps inside are thanks to BG Wiki.

Just came here to re-post what I already posted on FFXIAH.

Nightmare mob procs are decided by the type of currency they drop.
Going from 8 in-game hour intervals, the patterns vary as follow:
    Shells = WS > MA > JA
    Bynes = JA > WS > MA
    O. Piece = MA > JA > WS

Might be old news, might not, but I just wanted to share.
