    New Procs and Discernment thread (Voidwatch and Dynamis)

    I figure it would probably be best to aggregate all of the information regarding these occurrences in one location. If you want to be helpful, please post anything in regards to discernment or procs here. For example, while fighting Sallow Seymour today, I got a discernment message for Great Sword while using Provoke and a discernment message for Light Magic while casting Flash. To make information easier to process, please include the following details (you can copy my format too if you like!)

    With color, just do your best, as there may be more types of staggers now so the old convention (ruby/azure/amber) may not work. I think there are probably five (red, blue, yellow, green and white) for Voidwalkers, but that's just my gut feeling.

    Either way, please keep irrelevant discussion to a minimum. I'll try and update the OP to reflect everyone's data in an appealing way, I don't want to have to sift a lot of random stuff.

    Ugh, so job abilities & weaponskills are in the same category huh? Shitty.


    Also, would just like to point out that in the update preview they show a giant mandy with grellow !! being done by Chakra. Looked like it was in Sarta.

    Chakra doesn't shoot out a giant ball malacite..... That would be chi blast.

    No discernible change in behaviour after these staggers. In retrospect, I think they may have been terrorized for a brief period, but nowhere near the normal amount of time for a 'red stagger.'

    You might wanna include Time of day and Day of week in that template considering what we know about the old stagger conventions. They may not be the same systems, but they may still use the same tools.

    More triggers were met but I was tanking so I didn't catch them all...but we had standard proc jobs present so it was within the realm of BLM/BRD/NIN/WHM.

    Staggered Voidwatch Worm with Circle Blade (red stagger..). I'm also fairly certain it was using a WS when it was staggered. Got message for pet special attacks, staff, great katana, sword, and dark magic during the fight. Triggered Dark magic/sword/GK. Don't remember day/time.

    Got about 15?ish red procs in Dynamis bastok tonight, we noticed they almost all came from mythic/relic/empy weaponskills, also got several red procs from spells rangeing from Blizzard 1 to addle and sleep 2. as well as provoke. GL figureing out dynamis procs that arent ws based lol. Any1 get a red proc in dynamis from a weaponskill that wasnt a mythic/relic or empy ws?

    Posted this on voidwatch thread, so might as well put here too:

    target Sallow Seymour:

    just got exploration with 25% white... weakness kept changing/showing differently in the entire fight but always loops (wind/water/earth magic, axe/h2h/polearm/katana/bow for weapon skill, DRK/SMN BPs/WYVERNWTF abilities) still more tho but i cant remember all

    we just happen to not have those jobs, so we only proced a katana WS with blade ten and it gives 25% white(red stagger)... magnitude cloud proced a yellow and it gives other color % as highly vulnerable weakness. We also proced another yellow but it doesnt give white as well (cant remember which magic) but gives other color %

    this is an entirely luck based system if u ask me...and u need almost all the jobs to cover as u cannot warp ._.

    Additional notes: We popped on waters day..... And magic weakness is Earth Water and Wind... which is the same as abyssea actually... However they may be more magic that i missed out since weapon skills have 5 weapon type. There is a chance it is still random tho but we only fought once and these are what i can gather for now.

    Weapon Skills

    Club - True Strike.
    Great Axe - Sturmwind.
    Great Katana - Tachi: Jinpu, Tachi: Rana.
    Great Sword - Herculean Slash.
    Katana - Blade: Yu.
    Polearm - Leg Sweep.
    Staff - Spirit Taker.
    Sword - Burning Blade, Shining Blade, Atonement, Sanguine Blade.

    Magic

    Fire - Fire 3, Firaga 3.
    Ice - Blizzaga(?), Blizzard 3, Frost Breath.
    Wind - Earth Threnody, Hecatomb Wave.
