I think when I came back to Abyssea with a new account I got from 1-90, rank 5 windy, level 7~ city fame, nin+utsusemi, 2 needed atmas, a few abyssites needed, some +1 and +2 AF3, and a couple of the caturae/zone bosses done in a matter of 1-2 months. I did have some help from a few friends/LS though.

Having help is a huge asset in ways you don't consider at first. Like having someone who can open the cursed orb wall in Davoi for you, so you don't have to do the quest to do it yourself. That saves you two hours and probably gives you an escort/raise in case you die.

I quit last year before they changed their billing process. All I want to do is pay for my account via credit card without having to signup for some gay account with Click and Buy or something like that. Is that even possible anymore?

Yeah. They enabled direct payment for NAs. There are some minor hoops to jump through, though.

If your payment method does not work the first time, do not keep trying it. Post back here and we can try to figure out what is wrong. Also, disable noscript/Adblock when you're entering it. The SE customer service reps are totally clueless about how their own billing system works, so you have a better chance posting here than calling them.

With clipper and being able to dualbox a friends account, I was able to have 40m+ in gear to my name, 6 99's, full Sea/Sky/Salvage... done with Abyssea Missions, was in a good LS got all major ATMAs and almost done with VW in about 2 months... game really is cake now. Level BST for any 75 content missions....

So, I was just re-checking the post in OP, and I noticed that there is still the 14 day trial offer on the Abyssea collection site. Are there still 14 days trials? Because I thought they ended all free-trials. I tried it and it sent me a code and the client does download so seems to work? I'm going to try out of curiousity.

Went and tried it out. Yes the 14 day trial offers are still available. But the process to set it up is convoluted as is usual for SE. I might make a video to show step by step how to do it all. Because there's no way any new person could navigate this and even I had to do significant guesswork and googling.

So in total it seems if you were to start from scratch you could have a 14 day free trial, followed by another free 30 days if you purchase the game+addspansions. For a total of 44 free days.
