I should really sell my unopened ps4 version before this hits.
I'll keep an eye out for when it's on sale. $27 (current price) isn't bad though. That motion blur on ps4 was incredibly awful though!
Game is quite cheap but FF ports have been terrible so far... not really sure yet :/
Just a reminder. The game comes out on Steam in 6 days~ Get hype
Going to preemptively apologize for not reading through 17 pages. Is this game any good? The trailer seems pretty bad ass and it's fixing to come out on steam pretty soon. Should I get the PC port and risk a shitty port job or just grab the PS4 version?
if you liked crisis core, you'd really like this one.
Type-0 is one of SE's best Action-RPG titles I'd confidently say. Gameplay is fun and the story is on the more mature side as well unlike SE's other ARPG titles like the Kingdom Hearts series for example. Which while amazing, the story for KH is very kid-friendly where as this one is very adult and based around a war.
Can't say whether to get the PC port over the PS4 version as I haven't heard any opinions about the PC version yet. I got the PS4 version myself (mainly for the FFXV demo) and I'm satisfied with it, especially when they toned down the camera motion blur
I enjoyed this game immensely. Story isn't like a traditional Final Fantasy game. There's not as much character development, it's more world/political development.
and lolgenbu
Just got this game on Steam and enjoying the heck outta it so far. Minor complaint so far is I can only do one task at a time. C'mooon...
Character highlights so far are Queen and Rem. Sword wielding girl with glasses and girl with thigh high socks aw yis.
Does Ace get better the more skills you get? He's currently invoking the frustration I had with AST in FFXIV. Gotta go through a couple cards before I get the ones I want.
You don't really rely on Ace's shuffle deck much, he's much more about the lasers and teleports. Though later on you get specific decks that help with drawing out the cards you need (attack deck most useful, the rest are meh).
