It's one of the most enjoyable anime this season, I doubt you would regret it.
Alright. I haven't seen a good anime yet besides Usagi. Hopefully you're right. :D

So I'm trying to decide why I'm still watching Kaiji season 2. I like seeing how Kaiji figures out how he's being cheated and the counter measures he comes up with, but the show is such a damn emotional rollercoaster and not in a good way. The series just likes to make people suffer so freaking bad before giving them a glimmer of hope and then crushing that. I'm not sure I can take it anymore.

Season 2 feels really drawn out. I think they are trying to stretch is as long as possible since there is less content and they don't want to catch up to the manga? Season 1 was definitely more amazing, season 2 is meh with a few great episodes.

It's not that, this part of the manga is really drawn out also.

Is that new HxH anime a reboot or the start of the bug arc(bleh....)?

While I agree the pacing is just torture, I love how Kaiji can make you feel that way. I always watch completely tense because anything can happen to Kaiji lol, he isn't untouchable.

If you can watch it back to back, S2 I think is still great. Week by week it's harder because of the massive cliffhangers and emotional roller-coasters.

I can't believe they pulled a bitch move and used the block though. I'm honestly curious as to how they are going to get past that. Maybe a riot occurs?

Yeah, I think I'm just going to wait and watch 4-5 episodes a time, like I said, I really like a lot of aspects of the show, and the fact that Kaiji isn't untouchable makes it very compelling. The end of season one was so crazy, I never expected
    Spoiler: show
him to lose that last gamble and get his fingers cut off.
That was a total holy fucking shit, did that really just happen?!? moment.

Just watched ep 3 of Blood C and I have just one tiny question...

    Spoiler: show
WHERE IS THE FUCKING PLOT ALREADY!?!?!?!?
Seriously...this show has some horrible balancing issues. I know its only 3 episodes in, but we still have no sense of what the plot is while other anime usually give you some idea by the first episode. I think it's pretty clear that Saya is a nice, carefree, and naive girl in her daily life, but good lord...watching those scenes is just torture. Then she turns around and becomes cold blooded killer just like that with no explanation as to how or why. I don't even mind if they stick to this formula...but damn, at least make the non fighting parts of the episodes interesting.

The only saving grace in this show right now are the AMAZING fight scenes...wading through 20 min of pure shit to get to them just sucks though. Production IG should have never let anyone from Clamp touch this one...

I really wanted to like this show and will probably end up finishing it marathon style sometime down the road...but yeah...very disappointed so far

    Dantalian ep 02

Miyuki Sawashiro has done a lot of relatively well known roles, mainly Perrine in Strike Witches and Celty in Durarara!!, but her work as Dalian in this show is fantastic.

The chemistry between Huey and Dalian is great in this show, and they both have really good personalities.

    Spoiler: show
As for the episode, the surprisingly accurate references to historical books and even sumerian cuneiform is extremely interesting, and the scenery porn is even better this time. This is my favorite show of the season.

Well, next episode seems to be a conclusion or something. If next week is any good, I'll be raving about it, since episode 8 and 9 had such an epic pay off.

Screw Usagi Drop, I got all teared up towards the end of episode 3. Really great show though, it feels so unique and the characters have actual depth.

The last chapter of Usagi Drop manga just got translated too, doubt they will get to that point in the anime though.

I was thinking the opposite. As much as I love the setting and context, I still find the character to be dull. I still enjoy the show, but I expect more from these two.

Index is like a goddamn train wreck; you just can't look away. The world and the characters have SOOOOO much awesome potential. I guess I just keep hoping that someone who knows how to write a good story will take over- or better yet, rewrite the whole goddamn series from scratch.

I'm just enjoying Dantalian no Shouka for the fact that it's Gosick meets Rozen Maiden where the male protagonist actually had a spine. I kinda wish they'd shorten the incantations though, I'd rather not have this series be "Classical Literature Audiobook feat: Ono Daisuke", but I really do enjoy what I've seen so far.
